The Cottages is an Early Education Program nurturing children from six weeks through five years of age. We are an eco-friendly school, certified by the National Green School Coalition.
History
Established in 2009.
The Cottages was founded in June 2009 by Michelle Ireland. Since opening, The Cottages has focused on creating healthy and eco-friendly learning environments both indoors and outdoors. In 2009, The Cottages was endorsed as an Eco-Healthy Child Care facility through the Oregon Environmental Council and in 2010 we received our green school certification through the National Green School Coalition. The Cottages is also a participant in the Look for the Stars program through the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County.
