Dr. Marlowe practices adult and pediatric Otology, Neurotology and general Otolaryngology, (ear, nose and throat) at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Dr. Marlowe prides himself on being a healer as well as a scientist. Devoted to state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of otologic problems, he treats such problems as hearing loss, dizziness, balance problems, facial nerve disorders, ear infections and tumors of the ear or skullbase in children and adults. His general otolaryngology expertise includes care of nasal and breathing disorders including advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and the latest treatment for sleep apnea and snoring. Patients will find uncompromising, warm medical care by a friendly staff of professionals.
History
Established in 1998.
Dr. Marlowe started practicing in Sarasota in 1998. Dr. Marlowe graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Temple Universtity Hospital. He is dual fellowship-trained in Head and Neck Surgery and in Neuro — Otology. He started practicing in Philadelphia as an Assistant Professor at Hahnemann University Hospital. These hospitals were purchased by Allegheny Medical and then Drexel University over the next two years. He then spent 2 years at the State University of NY, Buffalo Campus as an Associate Professor. Fleeing the cold, he relocated to Sarasota, FL with his wife and 2 young children (now 3 children) in 1998. Dr. Marlowe was recruited by Doctor’s Hospital of Sarasota and a group of local ENT physicians who sought to bring in a Neuro-Otologist to serve the growing population. In 2008 Dr. Marlowe opened the Center for Hearing to better serve the hearing loss patients in his practice.

His general otolanryngology expertise includes shotless allergy treatment, care of nasal and breathing disorders including advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, and the latest treatment for sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. Marlowe is married and has a son, and two daughters. He enjoys family fun, movies, music and (still being a kid at heart) any kind of gadget or high tech toy.
