Let’s not beat around the bush here. LunchBOX is a full-​service, speed-​wax salon. The quick gist: People walk into LunchBOX with hair they don’t want. Just a handful of minutes later, they leave without it, and they stay that way for weeks at a time. We cater to women and men who are mindful about the people they choose for personal care. We wax bottoms and brows, cheeks and chests — a little (like ear fuzz) or a lot (from tip to toes).

Choose from a variety of services, and know you’ll be treated to our proven three-​step speed-​waxing process that combines refined technique and the highest quality products.

You name it, we can wax it! From traditional favorites including bikini, Brazilian, under arm, arms (full arm or half arm), eyebrow sculpting, legs (half legs or full legs) to newer favorites including basic tight bikini, full face (or just chin, lip, ears, nostrils, cheeks/​sideburns, lower stomach/​lower back, and more! Gentlemen, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered as well. Our services for the men include manzilian, mankini, chest, back and more.

History

Established in 2010.

LunchBOX CEO + Founder Debi Lane showed her entrepreneurial mettle when she realized that whole word-​of-​mouth thing was putting her waxing style on the map. For years, she owned and operated a multi-​service day spa in Sun Valley, and many vacationers eagerly waited until they made it back to the über-​chic resort to receive the carefully crafted speed waxing services from Lane and her team. Lane saw a need, dreamed of the potential and launched the state’s first wax-​only salon in 2010.

«I came to realize waxing was generally an after-​thought or add-​on at spas as well as hair and nail salons,» Lane said. «A comfortable, clean and chic destination dedicated to nothing but someone’s comfort and waxing needs makes sense for consumers and business owners. It’s proven to be the smartest business move I’ve ever made.»

LunchBOX began awarding franchises in 2013, and the entire team gets school-​girl giddy (yes, even the men) when plans to open another salon in another community come about.

Very impressed with the services here. I was hesitant to try soft wax again after using hard wax for 4 years now, but Trinity made the experience quick and relatively painless. Making an appointment was super easy. Facilities are very clean! I would say I’m sold and would totally be back if not for the lack of good deals on wax passes– a little bit pricey for me but this is a solid place for a wax if you’re in need.

I have been here several times with Gabrielle and love her! Very talkative and sweet and kept me distracted from the discomfort. She was very thorough and made sure I was doing ok. Today I saw trinity and she didn’t talk the entire time and didn’t ask if I was doing ok. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with Gabrielle!

I have been going to lunchbox for about a year now. The atmosphere is excellent and I have recommended people there as service is excellent as well. He is a summary of my experience so far:
First time I went was greeted by Jasmine — she’s excellent and we talked the entire time. She was funny getting all my stubborn hairs while completing my Brazilian wax. She explained aftercare to me and didn’t try to sell anything to me.
Being such excellent service I rebooked with her again but when arrived was given someone else as she had an «emergency» wasn’t there. I seen Gabrielle– who was quick and to the point no small talk. She placed some type of cream again for a Brazilian wax which irritated my skin. In addition I had several hairs still there! Keep in mind I have done Brazilian waxes several times before. Needless to say I didn’t book with her again. And when recommending I tell others to avoid her. One of my friends complained about the same thing to me as well.
My other visit I have scheduled with Trinity since Jasmine’s name was never present. Trinity is also nice and talks with you. I would rebook with her again.
I took a break from lunchbox since it’s a different person always and recent booked with Shannon. She was also nice and friendly. I spoke to her about my frustrations with constant new people on the schedule and she promised she will be here for awhile.
In summary the best waxologist to me was Jasmine however she no longer works there. There are other good ones too but I would avoid Gabriella. Regardless for the environment and friendly staff I have to give this place 5stars. So much so I drive an hour just to get waxed! I just wish there was one in my city.

I will start by saying I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Nevada; I moved to Florida a year ago, and have been searching for great people to take care of my beauty needs. I am very particular about who I allow to work on me, and once I find someone good I don’t ever let them go! I have found my new esthetician/​wax person — Shannon!
My first visit with Shannon was about seven weeks ago; I came in to get a few things done, a Brazilian, leg wax, and eyebrows. When I came into LunchBOX she greeted me warmly, had me fill out some paperwork, and then escorted me back into the wax room. Shannon thoroughly explained everything that would happen throughout my visit; I had had my eyebrows and legs waxed before, but never a Brazilian. I appreciated Shannon’s honesty and knowledge, as well as her cleanliness and positive attitude. Afterwards, she took the time to educate me on the aftercare, and set me up with some fabulous products. I highly recommend the bodyBUFF and bodyWHIP :)
The whole visit was incredibly pleasant, professional, and left me feeling confident and beautiful. Yesterday I returned for another Brazilian with Shannon, and had a wonderful experience again! She is definitely my go to girl!

After reading rave reviews about this place, I decided to give it a try for my brows.
Jasmine seems to get great reviews for brows so I asked for her but she wasn’t available so I took whomever was. I forget her name. I don’t think the lady I saw normally does brows as the only mirror in the room was breast height and down. She complained about my thin brows as if I’d grown them that way just to spite her, laughed when I asked if she could still manage to get some shape into them, ignored my request to get those few little hairs that are on the bridge of my nose, didn’t even use the tweezers for that final little tidy up. I wasn’t offered a mirror and ended up having to bend over and squint into the abovementioned mirror after she had already bolted out of the room. I have a badly injured back so bending over isn’t really convenient so I bent my knees and took a very quick look.
When I got home and had a chance to really look at my brows they were terrible — one brow was very different from the other in both thickness and shape and I had to use tweezers myself to finish the job. My brows may be a bit thin but they are far from awful so there is not a case to be made for being unable to get them evenly shaped and sized without removing them entirely.
I will note that everything looked very clean, the place itself was rather super looking with a minimalist modern appearance, and I was offered a bottled water.
Really disappointing experience from somewhere with such super reviews. I don’t mind spending money for a great service but I honestly have had better jobs done for $ 10 at nail salons.

I don’t think this place is for me. I’ve been here a few times and each time was «okay». I have little value for corporate companies, and a service that is so intimate… they go through as many people as possible. If you want something that’s pretty reliable and quick, go here. Don’t be late or they’ll charge you half of the cost of your service.

Yeah, this is the greatest concept ever. How many people do I have to vet for a bikini wax? How many spas do I have to try? Well, none. Because when I moved to the area and just went here.
I’ve generally found a spa and it’s somewhat disappointing to be going to a full service traditional spa for a wax rather than a facial or massage. Or if I’m getting either it’s a bittersweet adventure because it starts or ends with that particular dreaded wax.
How great is it for here to be a place you are going to just for waxing? Eyebrows. Lip. Legs. Brazilian. Bikini. Whatever. I imagine it’s great for men to have a place to go to as well.
This locale is bright and clean. It’s just the right size and not over-​staffed so you may walk in to an empty reception area. There’s a sign that tells you to wait a few moments and if more than 5 or 10 (I forget which it is) minutes pass ring the bell. I get it, both women working there were waxing. But both came out in the 5 — 10 minute time frame, and I was taken right on time.
I picked Trinity which was difficult because the reviews have high praise for Trinity and Gabby so it’s great to know there’s a bench. Two ladies were checking out and both said how happy they were as they might have been first timers.
You can’t go wrong here. I look forward to going back — sort of.
You can book online. A credit care is required to hold a reservation but you don’t have to pay with that card. Or you can just tell them to run it on the card you booked with and be on your way — don’t forget to tip though. These ladies are waxing your private parts, doesn’t make sense to stiff them — even if you’re on vacation beaus karma can be a bitch.

THE only place to go for a wax in Sarasota. I have been a client for over a year and each time has been a pleasant experience, well as much as a wax experience can be. The wax is always the perfect temperature, no chance of scalding. I have had waxing done by both Trinity and Rachel both of which were personable, professional and very good at what they do.

I was looking at various salons in Sarasota when deciding which place to get waxed. I wanted to be sure I was going to a business that would make me feel comfortable. After reading plenty of reviews and looking at the website, I settled on Lunchbox Wax.
Let me tell you this place is fabulous. The interior is very modern and clean. This was my first time ever getting a Brazilian and I felt completely comfortable during such a personal service. Gabrielle was my waxing guru and she made sure she told me everything she was doing to prep my skin and explained why. She was very outgoing which helped in the process. Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the Brazilian only took 10 minutes!
After Gabrielle finished up she gave me the aftercare instructions so I would have the best results possible.
I will continue to go to this waxing salon and see Gabrielle. Highly recommend!

Not the friendliest place. Which is odd. considering that’s all I read was how friendly they were. It appeared clean. When I got home I noticed one eyebrow longer than the other. Wasn’t the best eyebrow wax I’ve had done, more like average, or close to, at home, do– it-​yourself waxing. For a lot less and same results you can do it at your nail salon for $ 10 instead of $ 20 here. Just don’t see why I would be paying $ 10 more for a wax here especially when you don’t feel welcome and the results are average to meh…

I moved to the area a few months ago, sad to leave my eyebrow & other waxing gurus back in Denver. I tried to do my due diligence in researching salons, and found that Lunchbox consistently had the best reviews. I decided to give it a shot, beginning with my eyebrows. I was apprehensive because, hey, we all know eyebrows can make or break a face. I went with Jasmine and could not have had a better experience. She lined up the shape I asked for and checked with me before waxing — a rarity, it seems. My brows have never looked this good. Very happy with the shape and how it fits my face. And she’s so sweet and funny to boot!
Next up: Brazilian. Turns out that when you live near the beach you kind of need to maintain «down there». I had Gabrielle for my initial appointment and couldn’t be happier. Fastest, most efficient Brazilian I’ve ever had! Seriously, the best in the land! Ha! She kept the environment respectful and courteous and even provided some light-​hearted humor. Each experience I’ve had with her has been nothing short of amazing. She’s not only great at what she does, but very knowledgable (in terms of after-​care, etc), but not in the preachy sales-​person way… which is refreshing.
Long story short, I’ll be going here for my waxing needs as long as I live here. Thanks, ladies!
