Best Special today ever! Quiche Lorraine that was full of cheese and done to perfection. Browned on top and a great balance of flavors. Served with a side of salad and cilantro ranch. Very generous portion(enough for 2!).

Meals are always decent here. Never bad, never outstanding, but consistent. Service is really great, and the food is fast. The wings are good, as are the wraps.

Solid bar food. We sat outside on the patio. Entertainment(2 piece band) playing. Wings and chopstick bowl were good. The burger was not so good.

I had two lunches here. The Jack Daniels chicken was tender and flavorful. The mahi mahi was also very well done. Service was slow the first time. There was only one server for the 20 of us. It was a Thursday. I guess management had fewer people on duty to save costs. The second time, there were more servers on duty and service was good. I would come here again if I am in Sarasota.

I asked if I could get the chicken tender basket, «Buffalo style» since they offer it that way in a wrap and the waitress was so confused that I told her nevermind I’ll just take it the way they normally make them, big mistake, the hot sauce would have added at least some moisture to the«outside» of the chicken. The chicken was burnt to a crisp. 20 minutes later the waitress came to ask how everything was I told her they were burnt and dry and she offered to have them remade. I would’ve taken her up on her offer had she came around right after I bit into it and got dust but my whole family was done eating. I decided to only leave a 15% tip to show my displeasure because the cook messed up but driving home I thought if one of my waitresses had served that to a customer she would be off the next two weekend shifts and the cook would be replaced.

We are staying at the Best Western next door, and every night we hear and see a lot of activity at Harry’s, so we decided to give it a try. And boy are we glad we did! It was a 40 minute wait for a table outside, so we sat at the outside bar instead. That was fun, as we got to chat with the nearby patrons. We ordered a Greek salad and chicken quesadillas. Guacamole was extra, but well worth it. Portions were huge, and I ended up giving some of my quesadillas to a nearby patron since I couldn’t finish it all. The singer is Tommy Santilli, who was amazing! We felt like we were at a professional concert. He has played with some big name singers, and he can sing and play that guitar amazingly well. He said he plays at Harry’s Wednesday’s and Friday’s. Overall, we lucked out, and highly recommend Harry’s for the food and atmosphere.

I could have found better food at a gas station. Worst nachos ever, everything was cold and looked like a 12 year old put it together. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was gross, no taste because the breading which said it was dipped in sauce was falling off the chicken. Then the chicken itself looked like it was boiled in water. I would have given zero stars, stay away. Maybe sell some of thoses tvs and get better food!

Busy, very loud, and very good We arrived about 6:00 on this football playoff Sunday. The busy parking lot was an indication it was a busy evening at Harry’s. Sure enough, there was a short wait for a booth. Harry’s is a sports bar so there are TVs everywhere, even in the floor. While waiting to be called we watched a game by looking down. Pretty cool. We sat inside, but Harry’s also has a patio area with a bar and seating that was enclosed this chilly evening. Being full of patrons, it was very loud inside. It did make it a little more difficult to talk. My Angus Beef & Pork Burger was really very good. It was a thick sandwich consisting of a beef patty topped with BBQ pork, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, and large firm slices of both tomato and onion. I enjoyed every bite. The burger took a little long to arrive, about 15 minutes from the time we ordered, but in their defense the place was very busy. And the food was definitely worth the wait. Harry’s is a local restaurant along US41 just south of Stickney Point Rd in front of the Best Western.

Truth be told, I never ate at Harry’s. But a very good friend of mine is a regular and was there one Saturday afternoon, having a beer, watching the game and making some heavy decisions. Big changes and challenges had been thrown at her over and over for months, and she needed a break. We were texting(she from Florida, me from Illinois), and I really wished I could be there with her. I called the restaurant to see if they would let me cover her bill over the phone. Enter the manager, Eva! They had to be busy on a Saturday afternoon, but she made me feel like I was the most important call she’d had all day. She found my friend, made the arrangements, and made it seem like an every day thing. Hey, maybe it is! But for me – it made it all the difference in the world. It’s hard to be so far away from a good friend. Eva made it easy for me to make her smile from over 1,200 miles away. Thank you for taking the time and being so gracious, Eva!

A very nice sports bar. We were traveling and, if course, here it was Sunday and we needed to watch our football. This place was one of the largest and nicest venue in the area. The have more than enough TV’s and great bar and dining facilities. In their waiting area there are 2HDTV’s in the floor. I had the calamari and a chicken wrap. Both were better than average. Service was much better than average and the prices were competitive for the area. If your looking for a real, well facilitated sports bar, this is it.

First time here, looks like a great place to watch football however the bartender had no personality and have the attitude that she couldn’t care if we were there or not

Dined here the other night as part of the Sarasota County Gator club viewing party; great menu and great specials. Lots of fun and energy. Pork sliders, chicken quesadilla and fried shrimp special were delicious. Waitress was very attentive even though it was crazy busy, she still did a great job. Will definitely be back.

I have now eaten here 3 times. Each time has been similar(by which I mean consistent). The food is always very good. Please keep in mind that this is basically a sports bar not a fine restaurant. With that in mind, I have been very pleased with the food and the service. I really like their chili. The burgers are big and juicy. You can tell from the shape that they aren’t freshly made but still have a very good flavor. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was great too. I will definitely come back as they have a HUGE menu and I look forward to trying several other things that they offer.

I had returned last month and the service was just ok. I thought it was because the guy that serve me was just in a mood, by the way sun glasses on your head while serving is not very sanitary when serving food. WELL I went back again tonight and it was worse! I walked in tonight and was sort of greeted by the hostess. I was asked«how many ?» I said«1» and was given the look. REALLY. Next the server came over to take my order. I told her the drink would be on 1 check and food on 2nd check(business trip they don’t pay for alcohol). I received my food first and waited for my drink. I never saw my server again, My server walked past my table over 12 times, yes I counted! She never asked how everything was or if I needed anything. Which I could have used another napkin but never got. Finally she come over and gave me my checks, I signed and left. NOTIP !!! If you don’t care about me then I don’t care about you. I have been in this industry for over 35 years and have never not tipped. I always over tip. This is the last time I will go, even if it is convenient to the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.

I have been to Harry’s several times but tonight I definitely wanted to write a review. We had an experience that was exactly what you would hope all casual dining out experiences would be! I had the freshest, most delicious Rueben I’ve had in a long time… the French fries were equally as good! The service was outstanding & both the hostess & server couldn’t have been more pleasant. Great!

My husband and I went to Harrys on a Friday afternoon. It was quiet, no sports involved. We were very happy with our burgers and the fries were the way I prefer them, crispy! I imagine it’s a bit of a madhouse during a sporting event, but lighten up on the staff! If someone calls in sick everyone has to pick up the slack(particularly difficult when the restaurant is overflowing).
