History

Established in 2007.

Fetch! Pet Care of Sarasota has served over 500 satisfied clients in Sarasota and Bradenton since 2007. In 2013, Tina Beer became the owner and manager of Fetch! Sarasota, and Jeff Plunkett, who started and managed the business until then, now owns and manages Fetch! Bradenton. Together, we are part of Fetch! Pet Care, the largest pet sitting and dog walking company in the nation, with a wonderful reputation for professional pet sitting.

I retired in 2007, from Ringling College of Art and Design after a 40-​year career and a college professor and dean there, and previously at Rollins College and Clemson University. I started that year to walk dogs and pet sit for Fetch! Pet Care of Sarasota and later became its dispatcher. Dogs can sense that I love them and enjoy their company. In fact, at Lakeview Dog Park I am known by some as the «Pied Piper,» because dogs that I have sat or walked recognize me and come as a pack to follow me as I walk around the park. My retirement turned into a new career when I bought Fetch! Pet Care of Sarasota in May 2013.
