This is your man in Sarasota. I called him at 8:15 am on a Saturday morning when we got locked out of our rental car. He was here within 30 minutes and super nice. Job took 5 minutes. Rate was SUPER reasonable. Highly recommend!

Wow. These guys are FAST. We stupidly got locked out of our detached garage, called Darrell’s after reading Unilocal reviews, and they arrived within a half hour and got us in. They were super friendly and got the job done quickly. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Absolutely wonderful. Darryl sent Keith over to help us. Darryl didn’t come because he had a cold and didn’t want to share with us. Very considerate. Keith could not have been any nicer. Don’t even think about considering another locksmith; Darrell and his employee are the epitome of «get er done», and, particularly will advise you of your options, and quote the prices. When Darrell wakes up in the morning, he must think «carpe diem», seize the day, and

Works weekends: I didn’t have to take time off from work, i.e., he fit his work to my schedule and not the other way around. Punctual: We agreed on arrival between Noon to 1:00 on a Saturday… he arrived at my house at 11:58 am. Friendly: Darrell rang my doorbell, smiled, introduced himself and his employee, and said something along the line of «OK, let’s get to work!» Super service: I had three locks re-​keyed in perhaps 20-min…all the while, I continued on with what I had been doing prior to Darrell’s arrival. Helpful: Noting that my front door hardware was brass («they don’t make them like that anymore») and would look great if I did a bit of cleaning, he suggested a specific brand of cleaner that would do the trick. Oh, and very reasonably priced: I’m sold.

Darrell is the best. He was here 90 minutes after we called and had the lock fixed in ten minutes. All fees were scrupulously disclosed and quite reasonable. And Darrell was a hoot!
I can’t imagine using any other locksmith in Sarasota. Full marks, Darrell!

Darrell was great, he came at midnight and he came very fast despite how late it was… he had the door opened in less than five minutes! It was a great experience, he was very nice, I highly recommend him!

Quick same day service. Changed all locks and had many helpful suggestions. Darrell takes his job seriously and gives a reasonable price. Very honest. Old fashioned business sense where customer service matters is hard to find. Darrell brings it.

Darrell was awesome. I accidentally locked myself out of my office (locks when you close it if you don’t turn the handle a certain way) and was not looking forward to calling or paying for a locksmith but had to get back in. Called Darrell and he was at my studio in less that 20 minutes. Not only did he get me back in, he replaced the lock, made me multiple keys and was the most cheerful dude ever. I also really appreciated that even though it was a Sunday, he didn’t charge me extra for the service.
I’m really hoping I never have the need for a lock smith again, but if I do — he will be the man to call!

My wife, on her way to work, accidentally closed the garage door when I was out checking the mail this morning. I was locked out of the house with the deadbolt locked, pouring down rain. After trying to reach her several times (her phone was on silent), I turned to my Unilocal app and found Darrell the Locksmith. I called at 6:57 am on a Sunday morning, he answered and came right away. He charged me a cheap flat rate and unlocked my door quickly. I was locked out at night. Called other locksmith in town first, waited and waited, never show up and want to charge me insane amout of money. Declined theire service. Called Darrell’s early in the morning. He answered promptly and very pleasant, told me he only charge a flat rate of $ 40. i like that, very straightford. He showed up at my house timely, turned out my lock cannot be picked, he has to break it, but he goes beyond to the homedepot to got me a new lock and put it back for me. I even got a receipt for the service. The whole experience is so pleasant. Honest, pleasant, prompt, and reasonable. I do not normally write customer review, but have to write one for him.

I had an emergency situation last night and I google searched locksmiths. This company was the first to come up and I had the most pleasurable experience. It’s not often that you would need a locksmith but Darrell was very quick (under an hour), resonantly priced and so very friendly! I would definitely recommend this company for any locksmithing needs!
