We initiate meetings with our small business clients, typically in October, to do a detailed tax plan and give advice on what can be done before the end of the year to minimize taxes and avoid surprises.

Brian M.

Business Owner

Brian McGinn earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1984 and his MBA from Florida Atlantic University in 1988. After 4 years as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand, 8 years in corporate accounting, Brian started a Comprehensive Business Services (CBS) franchise in 1996. Brian comes from family owned businesses and approaches solutions as a business owner first. Brian is a member of the AICPA, FICPA, and the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. A Professional Association of Small Business Accountants member since 2010, Brian is a current member of the PASBA board of directors, has led a PASBA Financial Review Group, and participated in the conference planning, national training, and FRG committees.
