History

Established in 2008.

Secret Cedar is a 3000 square foot recording facility located20 minutes east of downtown San Diego. Built in 1975, this facility is like no other recording studio in the city. Modeled after the famous GoldStar Studio’s studio B room in Hollywood, and designed by David Gold himself. The studio was renovated top to bottom and many things were upgraded to ensure that our clients were in the most comfortable atmosphere possible. We specialize in all genres of audio recording, from demos to album projects, film and tv soundtracks, jingles, radio spots, etc.

These guys are awesome! My band and i had to record a single over summer and they helped us get it recorded in about 8 hours. They had the mixed version to us within 48 hours. Also the drums sounded crystal clear and tuned because they hired a drum technician to come in and professionally tune their kit. The technician asked me exactly what sound i was going for and everything. I would definitely recommend these guys.
