RV Expert Mobile Service

So glad I called Jim at RV Expert Mobile Service. He came out today and replaced our awning cover. He was on time, friendly, finished within the time he stated, used high quality fabric used and did great work. It’s obvious he has loads of experience! Will call him again when something else needs fixing.

Called RV Expert in the morning. I received fast service. He diagnosed the problem right away and had the part my RV needed. Great service!!!

Call jim about fixing my awning very good attitude call him left messages couple hours later got back he fit me in his schedule and came out next day which was today very happy with the service since I need it install for the weekend fast and good price thanks again Jim for great service and great job!!! Called Jim on Saturday from silver strand because our awning broke. He had the fabric in stock and was at our camp site in no time. Gave us quick, GREAT service!!! We were so impressed of how fast and well of a job he did. We recommended him to a couple of other friends and they thanked us as well. Thanks for the great service Jim. Called Jim and talked about replacing the fabric on our awning on our motorhome. Price was reasonable and the work could be done on a Saturday at our home. He was prompt and very nice to deal with. He did a nice job installing the new fabric on our awning. Showed me some easy maintenance tricks and cleaned up. We need to replace the slide out toppers soon and will use him on those too. We highly recommend him.

Have had Jim out to measure for slide-​out toppers on two separate 5^th wheel trailers. Traded the first for the second before ordering the toppers for the first since the first was a piece of junk. Jim came out to measure for the toppers on the new RV just recently… Over two weeks and several phone messages later, nothing back from Jim. Have tried numerous times to give him work, but despite the extensive listings on his website, he works on very little… Wanted him to work on my (Dometic) refrigerator with an error code… No… Doesn’t work on refrigerators… Tried to get his help with my Atwood on-​demand water heater… Nope… Doesn’t work on those either… Had a black tank smell when Jim was out this last time measuring for the toppers… Jim said the toilet was loose since it was only mounted with two bolts on a flange held to the floor with only two bolts… Said he would research to see if there was still a 4-​bolt toilet and 4-​bolt flange available… Four days later, I had a toilet that mounts using four bolts and a flange for the toilet that mounts to the floor with four bolts… Called Jim, but as stated above, no return phone calls… I suspect Jim doesn’t replace toilets either, but doesn’t want to say so… His knowledge comes from selling RVs, but his RV sales business went under with the downturn in the economy. He is NOT a true RV repair technician… He apparently does RV roof replacements and installs awnings… maybe even slide out toppers, if no other problems are involved, like replacing a toilet… His website looks impressive, but it is all smoke and mirrors… Find someone else for RV repair work or you are wasting time…

Had my awning replaced today and I couldn’t be happier. Jim provides fast and professional service. A major plus is that it’s mobile service. I will definitely use his services again.

Jim is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy and reasonable. I was lucky to have called him first. If you own an RV you will be wise to keep his number on hand. He repaired our heater in minutes and readily answered some questions regarding our roof and oven. I am sure we will be calling him for help in the future and we will certainly recommend him to friends, family and fellow campers. Thanks Jim!

Another fantastic experience with RV Expert Mobile Service! While in Ocotillo Wells, where our trailer is located, our rear air conditioner on our park model trailer went out. Called Jim and he was out the very next morning with a new air conditioner. We were up and running within an hour of his arrival. It is very comforting to know we can count on an honest, reliable and knowledgeable person like Jim at RV Expert.

Jim is one heck of a gentleman. he came out and put on an awning at my house the same day I called him. His professionalism is SECOND TO NONE!
He was very informative with all of my toy haulers problems and even helped me out with some caulking for my roof!
I strongly recommend Jim as he is fair and honest which in these days speak very loud!

I had an electrical problem with my RV. My batteries were not charging while the RV was plugged into an electrical outlet. Also, my refrigerator was making a strange clicking sound seemingly randomly. Jim came out the same day I called him and quickly discovered I had no ground on the electrical outlet coming from my shed. This apparently caused my converter to go out, creating the electrical problem. All problems went away when we ran the RV power on the generator — including the refrigerator clicking noise. He went out, found the right converter, and installed same day. Everything is working great now!

Jim is a stand up guy. I have an older model rv that needed a complete roofing service. What makes Jim valuable is he looked at what would be best for our family in the long run. We appreciate your input and we will definitely keep you in mind for future jobs. Thanks so much!
