History

Established in 1970.

Holland Motor Homes is one of the oldest RV dealerships in the United States, founded by Martin Dykstra in 1970. Originally based in Holland, Michigan, the Dykstra family expanded in 1992 to include a second location in San Diego. Martin Dykstra built the dealership on a foundation of customer respect, before and after the sale. His legacy for conducting business in line with the saying, «treat people as you want to be treated», continues today. Throughout the dealership’s history, the strong commitment to customer service has resulted in nationwide recognition for excellent customer service, including the coveted #1 CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) award from Country Coach (four time winner), several «Top Dealer by Brand» awards in 2010 and 2011 from Fleetwood RV, and in 2012 Fleetwood’s «Top Single Location Dealer» trophy, and Leisure Travel’s «Silver» award.
