ok so this place was pretty yummy. We were looking for Chinese delivery and took a leap of faith based on the other reviews and we were not disappointed! Gave it 5 because it was way better than I expected, decent amount of food for the price and the delivery on a saturday night was super fast! Also they allow you to rate the heat on the food and a 5 was a 5!

I just ate so much food… It’s unreal. Lol totally delicious. It’s a $ 20 minimum for deliveries so of course we ordered enough lol new to the area, so we went wild! We had: two chicken egg rolls, two spring rolls, mushroom chicken combo with brown rice, Kung pao chicken regular size with white rice, and cream cheese won tons… Being Such fatties today! Opposites to the New Years resolution boom haha anyways I had a little bit of everything we ordered and loved it all. I did almost die from a proper or seed in the Kung pao chicken lmao but that’s cuz I’m a wuss. enjoy this place at least once. Also, portions… My «regular» with rice was much smaller than my husbands amounts as a combo. The combo is better if they offer what you want in the combo option.

Awful! Just awful all around! Went in for lunch with some co-workers. Ordered a lunch special and the lady behind the counter said rudely that’s too small for you, basically trying to get me to order one of the regular priced items. I said it’s fine, if it’s good next time I’ll order more. Asked if I could get General Tso’s on the lunch special cause it wasn’t listed, she said yes. Asked for a cup of water, tried to pay with a card but she said it would be .75 cents more if I paid with a card so I just paid cash. Never got water, she came back out and told me I couldn’t do General Tso’s cause it wasn’t on the lunch specials, um why do you think I asked?! But whatever, got the orange chicken. Food came out like 20 mins later and she wasn’t lying the portions were tiny. I added a picture. Still no water, chicken was ok, rice was cold. Definitely not worth the 6.50 in any regard. I hate places like this that aren’t even average and still can’t put out decent food or feel the need to be rude to their customers. Steer clear if you actually want a good dinning experience.

Decided to give this a try on a Monday night because I didn’t want to cook or drive. The price was fine, pretty standard for Asian food. Ordered the Mongolian beer, chicken pad Thai, and some goyoza. Delivery was quick, driver didn’t speak at all! Food was hot, which I expected since it is close by. The Mongolian Beef was very spicy, no bad but if I had known, I would have asked for no spicy(sensitive stomach). Goyoza was perfect, hot and crispy. The chicken pad thai was NOT pad Thai! The chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. Noodles we’re a little over done. But it wasn’t the peanut/taramadid sauce that pad Thai is known for. I would more likely call it Chinese noodle dish with chicken. I will probably order from them again but will stick with getting my pad thai from a Thai food restaurant.

We order from here all the time. The delivery option is convenient too, easy when we’re not in the mood to go out somewhere. We think the food is great. The little lady who I think owns the place makes us laugh, she’s funny and nice. Hot and sour soup is bomb. Foods always good.

I was not happy with the pressure to purchase food I didn’t want. They also tacked on cost for basic items, more than what is displayed in the menu. Very disappointed with one of the pushy lady behind the counter.

Great little family owned place with good food. I like to get it as takeout because the restaurant is a little small and not very fancy, They offer online ordering and delivery through a partner service which is great if you live out this way.

Just ordered for delivery and awaiting its arrival, and have a tip for the restaurant owner: your website states, «Dine-in or Take-out» but fails to mention that when ordering online, you can opt for delivery. Silly! Update: And silly me, ordering at 7:30pm on a Friday night. Did I really expect delivery in under an hour? Great food: Ordered the BBQ rice bowl(very tender and flavorful), Orange Chicken(sweet and tangy, tender chicken, the right balance of breading to chicken, so that it didn’t dry out the meat) and the appetizers sampler. All of it restaurant quality, rather than buffet or fast food. And lots of yummy leftovers.

I order from this place on a semi regular basis. If you live in Santee and want excellent delivery Chinese food, call these guys. There are some things to consider that you will learn to accept once you taste the quality of the food. First off, you will be strongly encouraged to order large size by the lady who takes your order. She is also very sweet and knows how good the food is and really wants you to enjoy it. I thought it was a sales tactic with no actual result so I have tried ordering both ways. Low and behold, there is a difference in size! The two dollar up charge is certainly worth it. If you are feeding two people and desire delicious Chinese food leftovers, order large. If you don’t, keep it regular size. Choose fried rice as a side, as the side chow mein is bland. Which surprises me, because I have ordered their chow mein as an entrée, and it is better that way. This go round we ordered broccoli shrimp, which is so flavorful and delicious that it has become one of my new favorites. I usually order the Hong Kong chow fun, which is outstanding. I also like the Mongolian beef and the chicken wonton soup. Delivery is fast and the food is always hot. Be sure to tip the driver, and be prepared to discuss payment method in a candid fashion… a tip! Cash is preferred! Again, one of those things that I think any sensible person would be willing to accept so long as they knew what to expect. The food is so good that I don’t really care, I’ll just go to the ATM. I recommend this spot, you will not be disappointed.

Alright Santee!!! This is the real deal! I do believe that we have a new favorite. Fresh, delicious, DELIVERED!!! Plus, I knew that we had ordered a lot of food, but when the delivery guy came to our door with a storage bin full of glorious-ness, I thought they had the wrong house. We have food for days! Thank you Chai Waii for a positively memorable meal! p. s. I recommend the House Spicy Wings, Buddha’s Delight, Chow Mein

Tonight was my first time eating here THEYDELIVERFORFREE. Got to love that. I am very particular when it comes to my Chinese food. If has to be amazing for me to ever order it again. This place did not disappoint. The food was flavorful, great quality, & delicious. I have definitely found my new Chinese food spot. I’ll for sure be a returning customer. I ordered; Orange chicken combo w/vegetable chow mein instead of rice (ORANGECHICKENHYPE on here was definitely true. Not a fan but really enjoyed it from here.) Mongolian beef entrée w/chow mein(I picked level 4 for spicy ill go higher next time) & salt & pepper chili wings topped with green onion

So… I was on my way to In N Out(Old Standby when you can’t figure out what you are in the mood for… always good!) and half way there, I got a strong craving for some Chinese food. I recall seeing this place open recently and decided to give it a try. I walked in, browsed the menu and decided to go with the Orange Chicken combo. It was just under $ 7.00 and I added fried rice instead of steamed(Extra .20 cents or something like that). It came with 2 vegetable spring roll type things too. I paid the lady my money and took a seat. My order was ready in about 3 – 5 minutes and I was out the door. Got home and dug in. Here is how it tasted. Orange Chicken– Very happy with this choice. I have been to too many places where they fry the crap out of the chicken and you get this stale/chewy exterior. This place had it perfect. It was crisp when you bit in and the chicken was hot and moist. You can tell they made this fresh and that it wasn’t sitting around in a heating tray. Every single piece was consistent and delicious. Some of the better orange chicken I have sampled. Fried Rice– I am a man who likes drier rice and minimal/no vegetables. This fit the bill. I found one pea and a few carrots… thats it. Just rice and egg basically. It was delicious. Spring Rolls– These things were good but small. Looked like half the size of a lumpia. They were crispy and decent. Overall, I am glad this place is here. The spot they are at is a never ending curse though(KBs BBQ, Santee Pizza etc). Hopefully they can stick around for awhile and not close down like the other places. This take out Chinese is way better than the other«take out/fast food» Chinese places around Santee though. I will be back.
