Armando Auto Upholstery

I’ve been waiting a long time to have my 1963 Cadillac convertible interior completely redone. I had not felt comfortable with the shops I had visited before Armando’s. He gave me a fair price for the entire rebuild of the interior, plus the trunk. Armando personally Spent over an hour going through fabric and leather/​vinyl choices with me. He assured me that my prize possession would be safely garaged at night and felt assured it would. I gave him time to do his best work, and he did not disappoint. Armando has personally been in this business his whole life and knows his craft. His shop is Jay Leno’s garage of classics having work done. I love the work he did for me and will be recommending him to all I know in the classic car market in San Diego. Trust your vehicle with Armando.

Nine years ago I used Armando to put a convertible top on my 1967 Firebird and he did a great job. He even used my parts that I had ordered through a catalog. So, when I had a bucket seat that needed repair in my Ford Explorer I took it to Armando. He quoted me reasonable and the turn around was fast! I highly recommend Armando when you have an upholstery job on your automobile. He and his shop do great work.

Just returned from having Armando’s repad my truck seat as it had completely collapsed. They did a nice job which should last for yrs.

Armando’s installed a seat heater in my new truck. They talked me through the concept, showed me a brochure and generally guided me through the installation process. The job was completed as represented and the finished product looks as if was factory installed. Great family business and I would recommend to anyone.

Had some miscommunication with the owner and I wrote a bad review, turns out he cares about his customers, he called me and apologized and everything is cool, said he would upholster something for me to make up for it, at least I got some feedback!
