Lake Henshaw Scenic Overlook or Scenic Vista. The first time, several years ago, I came here I was totally awed by the scenic view. It is just beautiful. I look forward to visiting this overlook again, especially at different seasons. I highly recommend anyone to come and see the majesty of this area. Unfortunately the severe drought is impacting the whole area. A platform is built by the Forest Service overlooking Lake Henshaw with plaques describing various wildlife that visit the area. Very scenic view with a small parking lot. No bathrooms, no water, no facilities. If you need one go to Lake Henshaw Resort, close by.
