My family members and I were patients of Dr. dale Westrom for years. Literally, Dr. Westrom spends less than 3 minutes with his patients, or at least in this case. In our opinion, he has a non caring attitude and feel that he has viewed us as cattle. In and out as quick as possible with minimal(if that) feedback. Absolutely no bedside manner. We are no longer going to tolerate this. He gets paid a hefty price and it should not be all about the money. This is our experience and our opinion.

My entire family are patients of Dr. Westrom. My mother, in her 80’s sees him for her skin issues including pre-cancerous spots. My youngest daughter was 9 when she had a suspicious mole removed and he was very kind to her and she was not scared at all. I go to Dr. Westrom for skin checks and occasional removal of potentially cancerous spots. My oldest daughter, a teen, sees his nurse practitioner for her acne issues. Dr. Westrom is always friendly, kind and professional as is the nurse practitioner. The wait in the office is usually short and and I’ve always been able to get an appointment within a few weeks.

I have been a patient for many years but had no need to visit until now. But, my experience is just as I remembered from the past; kind staff members and a professional, knowledgeable, and respectful attitude from Dr. W. He is warm and reassuring. I won’t even consider anyone else. Why would any Dr.(referring to Elizabeth H. review) feel good about«cleaning up» a botched job from an out of state procedure? Silly woman.

Had laser done in another state and had some skin problems after returning home… figured Dr. Westrom would be a good choice to get a follow-up and treatment since he does laser/skincare. WRONGCHOICE… he was extremely arrogant and took no time to answer questions or give suggestions. Reminded me twice he didn’t do the procedure which was uncalled for and unprofessional… I would NEVER set foot in his office again. I since have seen someone else who gave me a first class experience and said my problem could be very common and has completely got me back to normal. I would never recommend Dr. Westrom!

Dr. Westrom is a great doctor. He’s extremely prompt– I was taken back to the exam room immediately after checking in, and then I waited less than five minutes for Dr. Westrom to see me. He was thorough in the exam, aware of treatment side effects, and concerned about balancing treatment efficacy with risks. He unfortunately no longer offers phototherapy, so he sent me to another office for that. But when problems arise there and that office won’t help me, I call Dr. Westrom because I know he’ll be helpful and get back to me quickly.

I visited Dr. Westrom for the first time today and was impressed from the time I walked in the office. His staff members are warm and friendly — always nice to see smiling faces, especially if you have concerns when you visit a physician with medical concerns. «Roz», one of the front office staff members, bent over backwards to make sure I could see the doctor, even though I hadn’t officially received my insurance card yet — a dear, sweet lady with an overflowing level of compassion. She worked her magic & all was well with the visit for today! I had a very short wait in the office and in my examining room before Dr. Westrom arrived. He listened to my concerns, examined all the areas in question, and explained how and why we could use liquid nitrogen to remove pre-cancerous lesions. He even offered to review my medical reports from the melanoma I had removed in 2008 so he can confer with other doctors should that need arise since I am new to this area and don’t have relationships established in the medical community as yet. I thanked the dear doctor for his 10-year service to country {he is an Army Veteran}, and I am happy to lend recommendations if you are looking for a qualified dermatologist who is compassionate and knowledgeable!!!

based on the rave review, I made an appt., waited approx. 6 weeks to see Dr. Dale(damn good thing it wasn’t serious) and was very pleased. He is friendly, thorough, good natured and yes, I will definitely see him again.

I am the mother of two small children ages 2 and 5 months. I made an appointment at Dr. Westrom’s S.R. office for sclerotherapy which required a deposit of $ 175.00. When scheduling my appointment I was told that I could reschedule my appointment if I needed to, but that if I cancelled my appointment my deposit would not be refunded. The morning of my scheduled visit my childcare provider called in sick. I called the office first thing when they opened and left a message explaining my dilemma and asking for a reschedule. Several hours went by and I did not hear back so I called again and was told that I needed to call the cosmetic part of the office(a different number). I called the cosmetic part of the office and left the same message. Two hours before my scheduled appointment they called me back and said that I could reschedule but they would keep my $ 175 deposit because they needed 24 hours cancellation notice(not mentioned to me at the time of scheduling). Rather than have the office take $ 175 for nothing, I said o.k. I am coming in, but I will have my two kids with me which may be less than ideal. 20 minutes later the office manager called and said they would be keeping my deposit and that I was not«allowed» to come in with my kids. With both women there was no empathy or flexibility with regards to my situation(I should mention here that I do not have a history of cancelling appointments and that I was truly in a bind). Long story short, I managed to get someone last minute to watch my kids and went to my appointment alone, however, after this experience I will not return to this office.

I never had acne as a teenager when you are supposed to have problems with it. However, in my mid-twenties it started to occur and in the past year got so bad that it was really causing me problems. After several tries with more mild treatments, my primary care physician reffered me to Dr. Westrom for my acne. Dr. Westrom has been great. He listened to all of my concerns and put my on several medications including a type of Retin-A that did not cause my skin any irritation. He explained in detail what to expect and scheduled a follow-up appointment for me 3 months later. After 3 months, my skin improved but was not yet«good.» He modified my medications accordingly and now I am able to look like myself when I look in the mirror. He was very patient with all of my questions and was happy to check out a couple of new moles that I was a bit concerned about since skin cancer is not foreign to my family(I am half Danish). I am happy to say they were nothing to worry about, but it was great that he could so quickly alleviate any fears I might have. I still have follow up appointments with him regularly which I like since the state of my skin seems to change regularly. He is very caring and has a lot of knowledge and doesn’t make you wait forever to get an appointment.
