History
Established in 2010.
The Garden opened in February 2010 with a mission to bring healthy and responsible food choices out of the realm of sacrifice and into the world of true gourmet dining. We love the people in our community and want them to live forever. We want to show people that we can make choices that will allow our bodies, minds, and spirits to enjoy nearly perfect health as well as protecting our planet without suffering or sacrificing. Vegetarian food can be heathy, responsible and incredibly delicious and satisfying. Out monthly cooking schools have been a great success and we have great plans for health and wellness education in the future.
Meet the Business Owner
Steve T.
Business Owner
Steve has always loved to cook and create interesting and unique dishes. While pursuing other careers he was often in the kitchen baking or cooking up some new dish or menu. A favorite was always «Gourmet Leftovers». Steve would take a bunch of leftover dishes and incongruous ingredients out and try to make something new and interesting from them. «I always loved the end of the month when I had to «make do» with whatever was in the cupboard and fridge. When he and his wife became vegetarians and then vegans, the the challenge became one of substituting for traditional ingredients and learning about not only the flavors and textures of the ingredients, but about their affects on our bodies as well. «I believe that we are ‘wonderously and fearfully made’ and that nearly all of the health problems we encounter are because we do not take proper care of the incredible machines that we have been given.
