I ordered a beef, chicken, shrimp vermicelli combo for lunch. There were no lunch specials that I could see. It cost $ 13 and the beef and chicken were both tough. The shrimp had good flavor but I thought the sauce was also lacking. I guess I should have ordered the Phở because the dish I had was really a dissapointment.

This is one of my boyfriends favorite place to eat, so I thought I would give it another try. The food is okay, I had the beef combination with noodles and I should have ordered it with the rice. I did feel $ 13 was a lot for a bowl of noodles with some meat on top. The beef and shrimp were good but the noodles and egg roll I didn’t care for. I ordered the Thai iced tea and it’s super good, so I do recommended the tea. It’s a nice and sweet black iced tea with a sweet milk, almost like a dessert drink! The staff was very nice and helpful and our order was out quickly. I just wasn’t the biggest fan of the food and the flavors. It might be worth it for yourself to try.

Times I’ve been here, food is rather bland and doesn’t warrant prices. Probably have been spoiled in SF, where a Bun bowl costs tops $ 10. After stopping by here several times, food just isn’t clicking, especially when you back it up to the price.

Delicious and we’ll priced. Always busy so you may have to wait. Phở is good along with spring rolls and other entrees. One of the better places in the area. Small parking lot but lots of safe street parking. Staff was quick and friendly.

If you are looking for amazing Vietnamese food this is definitely the place to go to! I come here all the time and I have brought many family members as well as friends here. The customer service is great everyone is always smiling and very attentive. I have tried almost the whole menu my favorite is the chicken phở soup and shrimp eggs rolls but everything is delicious. I brought my two sisters tonight and they LOVED the food they had the yellow curry! It’s definitely a must try! They will definitely be making more trips to simply Vietnam!

This place is popular, and for good reason. On a Thursday night, they had such a full house that we ended up seated at the bar. Despite the crowd, service was quick and efficient; we were given menus and drinks right away and food arrived shortly after we ordered it. We got: tofu spring rolls, tofu and veggie stir fry with chow fun, and barbeque pork with vermicelli. The spring rolls, although not heavy on herbs, were some of the best I’ve recently tried. They were unusually plump with noticeably fresh fillings– veggies were crisp and tofu was still warm. We requested both types of dipping sauce– peanut and sweet and spicy– and both were top notch. My veggie stir fry was super satisfying; the tofu was flavorful, there was plenty of broccoli(my favorite) and the whole thing was coated in a delicious savory sauce. My only complaint was that they forgot to add the extra tofu I’d asked for, but the portion size was more than adequate so it didn’t end up being an issue. My dining companion’s BBQ pork bowl was massive, and, although he said it was excellent, he was no match for such a profusion of noodles! This is honestly one of the few restaurants in the Bay Area that serves large amounts of quality food at a relatively low price. Five out of five. Would gladly return.

The lemongrass chicken vermicelli noodle bowl is my absolute favorite! Everything I’ve ordered here I’ve liked, spring rolls are great too, but that dish has to be my favourite!

We went to this restaurant today and it looks like it is forever closed or perhaps closed for maintenance.

I love their Phở, lemongrass chicken dish, beef onion wrap, and thai iced tea. I have eaten here many, many times. Good for lunches as the food comes out quickly. My only complaint is that when I eat the Phở I can DEFINITELY feel the sodium(or maybe MSG, not sure). My hands swell slightly and I feel super dehydrated. But I still keep coming back! Just wanted to mention it. I’d also try Simply Vietnam Express on Cleveland Avenue in Santa Rosa, they offer Boba Tea selections and Banh Mi.

Do you like amazing Vietnamese food at a affordable price while being waited on by a friendly and quick staff? This is the place. Parking is always available but nine times out of ten you’ll be on the street. The overall feeling of the restaurant is casual and low key. It get’s a little loud if it’s busy but you won’t notice once your food comes. I’ve had so much from the menu. This is a restaurant that my girlfriend and I come to about once a month. We both have our favorites and have never been disappointed when we try something new. The prices are great! Not too expensive and not suspiciously cheap.

I ordered the large phở with steak. Which was amazing. No need to order the XL. I can eat large portions of food and was super hungry. Still the large was plenty. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the dishes. Yum yum!

Great lunch! I love this place for lunch it has great food. I enjoy starting off with the BBQ pork spring rolls, they have great flavor and a really good balance between the meat and veggies. They come with an amazing peanut sauce which I really enjoy mixing with the hoisin sauce and the chill paste to make a tasty dipping combo. Next is one of my absolute favorite lunches Shaking Beef Combo. The combo comes with the shaking beef(pan seared filet) served over white rice, two prawns, a salad and egg roll. The beef is out of this world tender tons of flavor just magnificent. Couple that with the egg roll and prawns and you have a 5 star lunch. Facility is always clean and well decorated. Only drawback to the facility is the parking, it gets crowded around lunch time and parking can be a issue but that is never enough to deter me from going here. Love this place and highly recommend it to anyone who is having lunch in Santa Rosa.

I love, love, love this place! Yummy food, quick service. Yummy food. My favorite is C2. BBQ Pork Combo(BBQ Pork, Prawns, Egg Roll). I really want to try the shaking beef, but I keep forgetting once I walk into the restaurant and smell all the great smells, I just crave my fav… Some day, no really, some day I will get shaking beef… I will get back to you when it happens :-)

Though the location may seem out of the way, I highly recommend the drive out here to Simply Vietnam. Whatever magic the kitchen works on preparing and grilling the beef is some potent voodoo, because the flavor of their meat options is a standout. Whether you get the BBQ Pork Spring Rolls(3 for $ 6.50), Combo Beef Phở(Small $ 8, Large $ 10, XLarge $ 13), or Lemongrass Chicken Bun($ 11), those dishes is so rich and flavorful, that my mouth is watering now just typing this review. The main dishes have big portions, so I recommend coming hungry! Those entrees can also be customized with side orders, like Extra Salad, Pork Meatballs, Extra Carrots and Daikon, or Fried Egg, which only serve to further make your meal better. Overall excellent service and a quiet atmosphere make this place a casual spot to grab a great dinner!

My favorite item on the menu here are the spring rolls. They are delicious and I appreciate that the peanut sauce is NOT spicy here. My most recent visit I branched out and tried their stir fry vegetables over rice noodles with shrimp added. I forgot to ask for this dish without garlic and so was disappointed by the garlic included in it. It was about a 1.5 spicy on a scale of 0 to 10. I definitely need to remember to ask about these things next time. Staff are friendly and attentive, providing refills before our drinks got empty and bringing the check quickly when we said we were ready for it. Everyone in my group left feeling full, but not heavy in our stomachs. Great job Simply Vietnam!
