Purofirst Of Sonoma County

Purofirst: The son, Ryan, who calls himself a contractor, apparently has a reputation that precedes him. (See June 23, 2014 article in Press Democrat). He has issues and his work does also. When he came to my home July 2015, he walked the roof, loosened shingles, and failed to tap them back down. He said he was unable to find the leak but submitted a massive bill.
Fortunately for us, a friend who is also a licensed Contractor came by same night to see why the «yo-yo’s» we’d hired were having such problem finding our leak — and was able to locate the source of the leak within a half/​hour, btw — and found that Purofirst’s guy (Ryan Rummonds) had loosened 6 – 8 shingles along the edge of my roof.
The Insurance companies should not recommend this company. The original owners are the parents of this guy and from what I’ve heard, are attempting to retire and leave the company to him. He just isn’t mature enough to handle such responsibility.

Probably one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with. They sent out a water remediation team without even addressing the leaky roof 2 times. Complete lack of communication between the owners son «estimator» and the people working for him. I listened to the phone call with the employee calling the office telling them we needed a roofer to come out (yet 3 more days passed before anyone came out — and then they didn’t bring materials to cover the roof)
We had air purifiers and dryers running nonstop in our living room for the entire three weeks leading up to Christmas. All the this time there was actually water pouring into their heaters.
And then they sent us an astronomical bill for equipment rental (that was due to their lack of fixing the situation the first time). What a rip off!!!

Purofirst is excellent! Bill Rummonds has a very tight, honest, reliable, and intelligent team that works for him. I’ve hired them for three different jobs and every time I am always impressed. Ryan of Purofirst built us a deck it is amazing, his design and attention to detail surpasses many others. I am especially thankful for Jack who also is employed by Purofirst. Jack installed a set of french patio doors for us and they look and operate perfectly. Jack has been a savior for us. We had a serious issue with our wood siding due to a previous contractor taking shortcuts. Jack realized that we were eager to fix this problem so he milled us new redwood siding and now our house looks complete! I can’t say enough good things about Bill Rummonds and his team at Purofirst of Sonoma County.
