Stopped by today for a smog check and had seen an ad online and they advertise no appointments needed so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did too. I was greeted upon walking in the door cheerfully, and they were able to take me in right away as no one else was being helped at the moment. Mentioned the promo price and it was honored without question too.
Smog test took less than 10 minutes total and I was back on my way and I must say that this was by far the easiest experience I’ve had yet doing business with a smog check place and I know I’ll be returning in two years.

Rock star company. They responded to my appointment request at midnight last night! In and out at 8:30 this morning in 15 minutes! Super nice. Best smog experience ever! Done. I’m coming back when I need repairs.

I needed a smog check so I called 4 different places for availability and pricing. This place was the lowest in town ($ 40. which included the certificate — everyone else charges an additional $ 8.25 for the cert). No reservation was required. The staff was professional and very helpful. I will definatly return here when my car needs repairs or another smog check!

Called to get a flat tire changed. They said they’d be 30 minutes. Ok. After 10 minutes I went to my car to unload the trunk to get to the spare tire. They the guy comes FLYING around the corner so fast I cant flag him down. I call him and he said «I called you twice and Im now on another job and not coming back.» WOW. They contract with Geico, who also got a call from me. This is unacceptable.

We have come here for the last four years and the staff rocks. From the lady at the front counter and Jesse, to all of the mechanics and tow drivers. They service our 1991 Volkswagen Camper Van and 2002 VW Passat and when it comes down to it … I simply trust them. Always friendly and thoughtful.
Kudos to an awesome staff who knows the value of maintaining relationships with their customers.

The starter on my car went out and I called around to get estimates. Danny was the most helpful of the people I called and he gave me the lowest price quote. I took the car in, and they fixed it for me exactly as quoted. They shuttled me back to my place while they fixed the car and then picked me up in my car so he could drive it and test everything out. Sometimes it’s awkward talking to a mechanic because you get the sense they aren’t being completely honest. Didn’t have that sense here. These guys are diamond certified and I can see why. Definitely recommend!

This review is long overdue! I just wanted to give the guys at Performance a 5 star review because not only are they great people, but they deserve it! Everyone here is so nice and caring, and offer the most top notch service possible. I have been coming here for the past year by recommendation and they have helped me out so much with getting my vehicle where it needs to be; drivable! Unfortunately, I was given a car that was never maintained properly by my beloved family, so I experience many frustrating issues while driving. What I appreciate most about Performance is that they are completely honest and straight forward about their work — they are NOT one of those shops that just want to take advantage of you & add on a bunch of other services for more money. They even helped out my boyfriend this past winter and got his 1979 Firebird to pass smog… Not an easy task I’m sure, but it got done! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I am forever recommending Performance to everyone I know.

First time I have needed a smog check, so I called to make reservation, but none was required. The price was lowest compared to any other smog station in town (called 3). Staff was courteous and professional on the phone and especially in person. The shop was cleaner than I would have expected.
My expectations were exceeded, as this was fast, professional and inexpensive.
Highly recommended, and worthy of a first Unilocal…
