Nicholas J. Karney, DMD purchased the practice from Clinton E. Weaver, DDS who retired in June 2015. The transition into the practice has been great, with Patti and Liz continuing to work for the practice. The practice has been updated to use the most modern equipment including an endodontic microscope.

Business Owner

Dr. Karney is originally from Buffalo, NY. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and stayed there to complete his residency in endodontics. In dental school, he received the Louis I. Grossman Award for the excellence in endodontic diagnosis and treatment. His research interest during residency included cyclic and torsional fatigue of rotary instruments, and his findings were presented at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting in 2011. He was in practice in New York for a few years prior to moving out to the area in 2014. He loves weightlifting, the outdoors, working on his car, and the mild, snow-​free winters of Sonoma County!
