Linkenheimer LLP, CPAs and Advisors, is a mid-sized, culture-based firm looking to develop relationships with privately-held, often family-owned businesses, who want long-range, big picture planning to help their transition, growth or development. Our team, which experiences little turnover, is most efficient working with dynamic, progressive businesses. In addition to traditional audit, accounting, and tax services, we help them incorporate financial tools and strategies such as cash flow analysis, investment and financing, tax savings, and business development and growth plans, to name a few. We are industry diverse, working with both domestic and international businesses based both here and abroad, providing value through relationships and our team approach. We are located in Northern California, and honored as one of North Bay’s Best and Best Places to Work in the North Bay. Linkenheimer has been an active part of our world community since 1932.

Established in 1932.
Linkenheimer LLP CPAs and Advisors was established in Santa Rosa, CA in 1932. Our goal from the beginning was to be a Partner in Our Clients Success. We achieved that by truly listening to our clients needs to evaluate where the real issues were. Despite the changes and advancements in technology, our core methodology still remains and that is simple– relationships.
Meet the Business Owner
John J.
Business Owner
John Jones is the managing partner of Linkenheimer LLP. John joined the firm in May 1977, the day after he graduated from Sonoma State University with honors and distinction. He became a partner in the Firm in January 1983, and then managing partner in July 1986. He is a local boy, having grown up in Sonoma County. He also attended Santa Rosa Junior College. John is Past President of the California Group of Accounting Firms, Past President of a local Rotary Club, Chairman of the Board of Elders at St. Mark Church and Chairman of Alliott Group Worldwide. John spends his work-related time assisting clients in areas that include — forecasting, budgeting, feasibility studies, mergers and acquisitions, lender financing, succession planning, compensation planning, as well as income and estate tax planning.
Outside the office, John travels on bi-annual trips to third world countries with the Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Club providing eye glasses and exams to those without medical access.
