History

Established in 2008.

Perhaps you are visiting this website because you are curious about Acupuncture or tired of not getting the results you want from traditional western medicine. Congratulations on taking the first step toward better health. I founded Essential Points Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine to provide quality healthcare to Santa Rosa residents. But it’s so much more than that to me. At Essential Points Acupuncture, one of the central elements that makes our practice unique is that we highly value spending time with our patients so we can really get to know them and listen to their health concerns. We believe in a medical approach that considers the whole person, not just the individual symptoms. This is what sets us apart and makes Essential Points Acupuncture a place of healing and hope for so many.

Meet the Business Owner

Annette R.

Business Owner

Hi, my name is Annette Romios. I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and I own an acupuncture clinic in the La Mesa area of San Diego. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters Degree from Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I developed a passion for Chinese Medicine at the age of 21 when I came down with Bell’s Palsy. With only two acupuncture treatments and some Chinese herbs it was gone, and I suddenly became very curious about this ancient medicine.
