I can’t believe that I have still not written a review for my most favorite automechanics. I have been using Zach, Ryan, and Jerome for 5 years now. I used to have a seven series and went to the local dealership back in 2009 to fix a door handle that was pulled out far and to get an oil change. This dealership charged my over $ 800 and I quickly learned from them that owning a 7 series is going to be very expensive.
Well, I actually did a little research and found out that taking my car to AutoBahn was going to save me thousands of dollars through the life of this car. I’m sure the local dealership wants to set that precedence, but a little research is all it takes to to find the very highly skilled mechanics. I now have a benz and its in the right hands from the start. I highly recommend them.

I just moved to Santa Rosa a few months and was dreading having to find new services, especially a mechanic. I don’t know much about cars so I rely completely on what a mechanic tells me, so that trusting relationship is essential for me. The first sign of BS and I am out. I met Jerome and he is a very cool guy with a lot of knowledge. I took my Santa Fe in (even though they specialize in German cars) with a pretty ambiguous problem. It just wasn’t running right, no clear problem. He diagnosed it, fixed and I had it back before lunch for a reasonable price. That is all I can ask from anyone I do business with. I look forward to having a long, albeit sparse relationship with this garage. I highly recommend them.

Zach is a car guy with good diagnostic skills and common sense. I noticed a following of customers that are loyal to him, I’ve talked to many who said he returns the favor. Zach is to the point and won’t BS you just to line his pockets.

After having owned an independent BMW repair shop and knowing the pitfalls that come with the territory I found Autobahn Automotive to be not your everyday BMW repair facility. For starters, they listen. They don’t go right into sales mode of trying to get the most repairs done on a single visit. I always get detailed estimates with time frames of importance. I save hundreds of dollars on routine service, and when repairs are needed, the price of labor is fair and parts are less expensive then I can buy. I also get the added knowledge that the parts chosen will be of superior quality then just the cheapest that could be found. Most of all I have come to trust them. I now take my other cars to Autobahn and recommend them to friends.

WARNING BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Worst experience I have ever had! These people don’t know anything about anything! Should not even be in business!

Great service. The guy knows his stuff. My four wheel drive jeep was rolling rough and he jumped on the problem quick. The price was fair and the work was clean.
After that I started bringing my 530i to him for regular servicing. It’s nice to get an experienced opinion and not just get a grease monkey looking to line his pocket. An honest mechanic is hard to find but when you do you don’t forget.
These guys are good.

I had my car worked on by the young feller that owns Autobahn Automotive in Santa Rosa a few months back. The first time he fixed my car, I was impressed. He was professional and courteous. I had him diagnose a problem I had with the car a month or so later. He told me that it required a certain part that cost a lot of $$ and the charge to install it was a certain price, which too was a lot of $$$. I called around to price out the part he stated needed to be replaced. I found the same part new for $ 200 less than he stated it would cost and I also found out that the installation of the part was not nearly the complicated task he made it out to be. Actually, he stated that it would require a task that is not even required for the part.
I feel that it is these types of mechanics that give the rest a VERY bad name. They over charge for parts and then try to deceive you by playing to the consumers ignorance, which is inherent to the basic consumer when it comes to automotive repairs. Otherwise, what would be the need of mechanics (to overly simplify the statement). Any ways, I can not, in good conscience, recommend this mechanic after this experience. If he feels he need to be dishonest on order to gain business, I can not and will not recommend it.

When I recently bought a used car (Nissan Murano) the brakes were a bit spongy, and there was a strange rattling noise from the engine. Autobahn looked it over and gave it a tune up, the owner, Zach gave me a loaner car while he worked on it. At the end of the day, I brought the car back and my Murano was all taken care of. Everything felt great, the brakes were solid and the noise was gone, the price was half what I thought it would be.
