Great experience here getting our company events truck smogged! After going to a few places on Santa Rosa Avenue and being turned away because of time constraints A Smog got us in right away and had no problem that our vehicle was larger. They were fast, professional and very accomodating.

Been taking my cars here for years. They are quick, reasonably priced and friendly. I have and will refer A Smog Test Only Station to anyone who asks where to go to get their car smogged. Special thanks to Christopher for my re-​test!

Thank you for your input Stephanie. While your information is up to date, you clearly must have spoken to the wrong BAR individual. He told me the case would be reopened when I allowed him to view my vehicle. I didn’t have time to bring it to a station again. Roseland Auto quickly approved my exam, and I will continue to return there for expert service. Again I DID NOT refuse to have my car inspected. In fact, I didn’t see your technician put my car on jacks to view what he claimed to see. While other stations DO NOT charge for a failed exam… you clearly charge for anyone walking in your business. I will be advising none of my family or friends to do business. As a 6^th generation Santa Rosa resident, I do know many people. Hopefully you will follow the lead of other businesses who would never have charged to begin with.

This was THE fastest smog test I’ve seen. I was in and out of the shop within 15 minutes. No exaggeration. No hassles. Just a fast, competitively priced smog test.

This review is for the shop on Santa Rosa Ave. I decided to try this shop because of their promotion where you can get a free re-​test if your car fails and I was really unsure if my car would pass. So here is what happened, I was driving South on Santa Rosa Ave and made a left turn into the space in front of the garage. There was a car in the spot to the right. Little did I know that the smog tech was about to back out and move that car. He was very upset and basically flipped me off. I got out of my car and asked what did you expect me to do? And he said didn’t you see the sign for parking? Well, NO I didn’t. Check out the photo posted here. Do you see the sign? Bottom line is I guess he wanted me to reverse my turn and get back into traffic and get hit because he was inconvenienced. Regardless of who’s at fault, there isn’t enough parking here and you are asking for trouble if you attempt to pick a spot and pick the wrong one. I left and went down the street to Action SMOG. The guy there treated me just fine, and they have parking. I’ll write a review of that shop next.

Quick and easy! In and out in fifteenth minutes. They send the smog certificate in digitally so you don’t have to. No complaints! Thank you!

I’ve been taking my vehicles here since the 90’s when I was a teenager. Since my first car! They have always been very friendly, informative, and honest. I’ve been lucky enough to never have a vehicle fail. Although I have had to do preventative maintenance to ensure so including replacement of catalytic converters. I’m a supporter of locally owned and operated business. This place is just that. Getting your car smogged can be like going to the dentist… Find a place that seems painless. This one does it for me!

So, the good news: I was in and out of there in less than a half hour for $ 70 and was able to get to DMV and get my car registered on the only day I could do it. The bad: I asked to get the Unilocal check in discount of $ 10 off, and was informed that they don’t honor the Unilocal discount. She said that was a «Yelp thing,» not theirs. Ironically, as I was waiting in the waiting room, they had a sign up that they don’t take the coupon that was in the Yellow Pages (they didn’t «authorize it»). So, there’s a very suspect trend here: they don’t honor many of their own coupons. Because of this, I will not be back. If you do go, I would double check to see if they honor coupons (which they said were available through ValPak and Les Schwab.)

I got a coupon online for $ 20 off. He was done in about 10 minutes, awesome service!

This business took total advantage of my son, a SSU student. He brought his car in for a smog, the engine was cold and the car did not pass. They Charged him $ 61.75. The next day, he drove home over one hour, took the same car to a local Smog test center and passed successfully. Also, for only $ 60.00 with certificate. Smog Test Only in Santa Rosa should know that a cold car runs richer and will not pass. This is simply unacceptable customer service. I will never give them my business.
