Unfortunately my experience was poor. It gets one star because it was a matter of dishonesty, which is in my opinion the worst thing a business can do. Here’s what occurred. The fellow at the desk gave me a price to replace a transmission fluid pump, which I accepted. After the work was done I came to learn he had used a «reconditioned pump.» This came to light only when I asked him to save the replaced part for me (I was already a bit suspicious) After some hesitation, he told me he couldn’t give it back because he had to give it to whoever sold him the replacement pump and then he’d get a $ 50 or $ 55 rebate. When I told him no, it’s my part, and this makes no sense, he copped to installing a reconditioned pump, not a new one. He denied he charged me the new pump price, and of course I did not believe him. I told him what he did was illegal, and the mechanic, who was with us during this exchange, apologized for the «misinformation» on the desk fellow’s part.
