I give five stars to myself for cutting Time Warner Cable!
Saving so much money, thanks me very much for getting the monkey off back!

1) Ordered online and was told just head to store to pickup device
2) Went to store was told order was cancelled because of system issues and they had to re-​enter info and had to prove the price I was confirmed in online order. Was told I was all set
3) Got bill in mail saying I still owed them $ 20 more per month because it had a different rate yet again. Had to call to fix and was told account is fine now, will see.
–Internet isn’t consistent and drops me from time to time
–Speed seems like half and was told it must be my device Im using (I have a new Macbook Pro)
–Sometime internet stalls
–Btw I have 100 speed which shouldn’t be slow for using only 1 pc online for basic stuff
Why the hell do these people have a monopoly on internet in Santa Monica?!

Went to the store in Santa Monica on a Thursday in the AM. Parking is tough to find. I’d expect to be flexible and walk a block or two. There was one person in front of me in line. I had to replace some equipment. Service was fast and friendly. No problems. Store doesn’t take reservations. FYI.

I have had continuous problem with TW Cable since January. I have had their techs out at least four times… Since April, my system freezes and reboots itself… yesterday it happened six times before 8 pm when I turned it off! The worst part was calling them in order to have someone come out today. The person on the phone read from her script over and over again, and would not put a supervisor on the phone! I felt like I was talking to a robot. I finally hung up and called back, and got a person who said he would have someone come out! I doubt that anything will be fixed today. Last try! Neighbors are also having problems.

Installers Ryan & Marcos were great! This review is more than a year overdue as I started it and then didn’t notice it in my ‘unfinished reviews’ folder. Anyway, these guys felt like friends and they knew what they were doing. TWC subcontracts and I don’t remember the name of the company that employed Ryan & Marcos, but the truth is that TWC television is relatively unchanged with old, rusty, crashing equipment, outdated software, etc. We ended up keeping their internet service which is very fast and reliable by contrast, but returned to another provider for TV. To be clear, 5 stars is for the installers and Internet service. TWC TV products and services earns 2 stars on a good day.

One day where my internet doesn’t go out would be amazing. Don’t think I have ever had a worse internet provider. For the amount we pay it is laughable.

The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. They double bill my account, their service does not work everything from Internet to cable to telephone is a disaster. Their reps are trained to be nice but have absolutely no power to resolve issues. I promise to call back but you never do. I often wonder why they spend so much money in advertising talking about great service but never provide great service … A tech recently told me that their whole system was antiquated and does not work… I would suggest installing DirecTV and getting an antenna or satellite based Internet company.

Time Warner makes efforts to help its customers. The key to Time Warner is having good communication with them about your bill. Their internet service is actually A+++. Good Job TW !!

I want to vomit how horrible time Warner is. Been with them for years paying them over 80 $ a month just for Internet which is supposed to be 200 MG per second I get 65 and they have an outage 4 time a month, it happens to be everytime I try to use the Internet they have an outage. What they offer is a call back once there is no outage. If I practiced the same format of business I would have been sued and bankrupt years ago.

All TWC stores suck and this one is no different. The company from top to bottom is the worst single company I have ever worked with. Sadly we live in a time where you must have internet to function and they are the only providers of it in my area. #twcsucks

Charise was great but time warner is the worst. Lesson learning: having written proof of a refund is not the way to get a refund with time warner.

Extremely satisfied with my visit today. I went in expecting the worst after having a really bad experience with Time Warner’s phone support. Today was one of the nicest and most efficient customer service interactions I’ve ever had, thank you Charise!
Advice: Have your account number ready and any other pertinent info to make things easier for everybody.

I went here, found quick parking, got exactly what I needed in less than 10 minutes. I’m honestly surprised about all the horror stories here. 3 stars is as good as a TWC pick-​up place can get, but it’s all positive for me!

Been dealing with them for over 9 months with an intermittent internet signal. They won’t send anyone out to look at it.
After the winds tonight the tv is scrambled meaning weak signal. Even though their tv commercial says if there is an issue they’ll send someone out in an hour to fix it, they lie. No integrity in this piece of shit company.
The signal has been weak for almost a year. I try and communicate with the idiots at the call center and tell them to send someone to sweep the line but they don’t have the training or intellect to know what that means.
Shit service, shit support. Going back to att/​directtv

There is no worse company in the world than Time Warner. Nothing working for three days. Had an appointment today between two and three and nobody showed up. At 3 o’clock they told me 20 minutes and at 4 o’clock they told me 20 minutes and at 5 o’clock they told me 20 minutes and now I get a recording saying someone’s coming tomorrow.
Awful company!!!

Criminals
Rude Hispanic salesman with a neck tattoo; no name tag– no supervisor in store to follow up with. I mine has well returned my modem to the back of a truck in downtown LA. This specific retail store is the worst and reflects the entire Time Warner philosophy:
Pay people as little as possible and outsource all call center jobs to overseas.

I’d give zero if I could. I didn’t look at the lady’s name but she was African American and at least 5.7″. I ordered what I needed online and came here to pick it up. I didn’t need a router because I already have one. She asked if I needed a router and I said no. She said well why not, how are you going to use your internet. I said I already have one that I don’t need to rent one. She said what devices are you using this internet for? (I don’t know why that matters) and I said my iPad and Apple TV. She said oh so your using this for Netflix? I said yes and my iPad why. She said are you sure you have a router because if you don’t you can’t use the Internet. I don’t know if she thinks I’m dumb or what but I repeated again yes I have a router cord. And then told her I also researched before just showing up to see what I need. She rolled her eyes at me.
While this was going on she was rude to another customer waiting in line all he asked is if he could get a new remote. The guy next to her nicely helped out.
She was so rude and looked like she really hated being there. If you go there is try and avoid this lady
Also, I get home and the motem isn’t working. I had to go to work so couldn’t call in that moment and had to wait the next day to call. After 30 minutes of being on the phone with tech support who couldn’t figure out how to get the signal to my modem then tells me that I have to have a technician come out. That was fine until she told me he couldn’t come for 3 days from now and that it would be $ 15 for the service. SOOO

3. I have to pay for a technician to come out
4. I’m paying for internet that isn’t even hooked up yet…
I’m understanding now why a lot of my friends use ATT uverse.

Came into the store to start my service because I couldn’t do so online. Parking was easy, plenty of space on the streets.
Arrived at 11:30AM, beat the lunch hour rush, and was able to talk to a service rep within two minutes. Line started building up behind me around 11:45 but there were four workers behind the computers so the wait wasn’t too bad.
The guy working with me was extremely nice! He resolved my service issue and set my internet up in less than 20 minutes. Didn’t know I was supposed to bring my modem in and he told me that if I brought it back to the store, he would just let me cut the line and activate it for me. Whaaaaat? He even threw in free cable jumpers for me because I wasn’t sure if my apartment had any! Bless you, TWC guy.
What started out as a bad day became a GREAT day. I honestly think if you came in with a nice attitude to the service reps, they’ll accommodate you the best they can.

I can’t imagine this particular LOCATION is due its ridiculously low rating. Sure, the service itself is flawed to no end … particularly the ability to switch deal rates and the flagrant inability to get a live person on the phone in less than 20 – 25 minutes, but that shouldn’t be factored into what goes on at a Time Warner brick-​and-​mortar location.
I had a perfectly reasonable encounter, here.
We had a work order placed during a phone call (our router/​modem hybrid device was no longer accepting new devices). They had us try one thing. It didn’t work. They put in a new order for a fresh piece of equipment. We told them this location was only a few miles from our home. They told us there was a device here for pickup.
I unhooked the old one, drove down. Got the new one and signed the paperwork in probably 6 minutes. Very easy, mostly painless, as far as a cable/​internet issue is concerned. Can’t go lower than 3 stars despite how many problems the service as a whole can have. This location did fine. The lady was friendly and the overwhelming presence of Dodgers swag was a nice touch.
