Oscar and Eddie were hella cool! They know their business and hooked up. Going their for my audio system from now on

Out of blue my rear view mirror fell off! I was about to change the whole windshield, as advised by numerous mechanics who wanted several hundred dollars, before I went to visit Eddie at Startronics. It took him around 30 minutes to fix it and it was much less expensive. We drove the car to Baja California through extremely rough terrain for two weeks right after it was fixed. It has been a year since it was fixed and the mirror is still as good as new. I highly recommend this honest and reputable company.

BEWARE! Dishonest store owner with a history of legal threats against Unilocal reviewers. I left a review about his bait-​and-​switch groupon and his dirty store, and he posted an offensive response that insulted me and created a made-​up story that I missed appointments (?? never happened).
UPDATE: He is bullying me with legal threats and trying to scare me into taking off my honest review. This guy keeps calling me an idiot and claims Unilocal told him to teach me a lesson. He is claiming he filed lawsuit papers along with other businesses i’ve left a bad review for. He also says he will subpoena my job and coworkers. LOL. I hope he does so these scare tactics against honest reviews are exposed.

Courteously took a same-​day appointment. Very professional service and left with great tint. Highly highly recommend!

I purchased a Livingsocial voucher this morning for Window Tinting from Startronics. After I printed out the voucher I contacted them thinking I’d have to wait a week or so to get my car in. Eddie answered who by the way was as friendly as one could be. He stated he had an opening that afternoon. So, I headed up for the install. Once there Eddie was extremely cordial and polite I stated to wonder where this guy was from. There was no pressure to purchase anything else during my visit although I’d asked several questions about detailing my car as well as tinting my windshield. He explained it would cut down on the UV rays as well as keeping the car cooler. Oscar who was also working on my car was extremely friendly. Both displayed exceptional Customer Service Skills.
I’d recommend anyone who wanted Window Tinting, Auto Detailing, Car Stereo Installation to contact Eddie at 310−828−8604 for superior service.

I’ve never written one of these before but felt that everyone buying the Groupon deserved to know that it is deceiving. The 5 window option will count the small triangle windows in the rear as two windows. The owner will try to up charge you for the front windows which I’ve gotten included elsewhere. There are two kinds of businesses on Groupon. Those that use it as advertisement to get their services some word of mouth and those that use it to get you in the door to nickel and dime you. I was lucky enough to be able to get a refund from Groupon.
What I did learn from this experience was to always check Unilocal first. All of the low star ratings on here have simular experiences to mine. Beware and I suggest you do some research first.

They do a fantastic job on Window tinting. I have had 2 cars done by them and they look fantastic. Go there if you want a high-​end look done right!

Don’t take your car here if you have the new Honda Civic model they count the tiny windows that are basically part of the big window as a new window and charge you an additional charge. Other places include them as part of the big window.

2^nd car I have brought here & am 1000% satisfied with their work just as I was the first time around :-) these guys are friendly & professional. Their work is guaranteed but I didn’t have to use the guaranty in the years I drove the car they tinted. Will definitely continue recommending them to my friends!

Eddie and his team do amazing top-​notch work. They completely transformed my car with 15% Carbon Ceramic tint all around. If you’re looking for the best place to get tinted on the west side this is the place to go. They’ve been there forever and their work speaks for itself. I will absolutely be back! Thanks guys!

I bought a window tint Groupon for window tint at Startronics. Eddie was extremely knowledgable and they did a fast, great job with tint. They ended up having to take the rear spoiler off to tint my back window, and honored the price because he forgot to tell me they had to remove that.
So far the tint is great– the quality is amazing (last tint job I got was 8years ago), and I’d me happy to bring my car back for anything else.
It’s a small place but they can handle anything! You are getting quality work done when you take your car here.
P. S.- if you’re getting window tint, make sure you get your car washed the DAY OF you get your window tint!

Eddie and his team are MASTERS at everything related to your vehicle.
If you need to whip your «whip» into shape, this is the place to come.
I was amazed to learn that they can hook up your car with everything from cameras to iPod integration to detailing.
Eddie really went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right. Its clear they take pride in what they do.
I’m always skeptical of places that say they are one-​stop shops, but Eddie is a whiz for EVERYTHING car related. I’m so happy that I don’t need to look anywhere else when I need a detail or whatever.

What a Great Experience. I had 2 side mirrors broken on my work Van. Called Eddie and told him I could not have much down time. Need the Van for work, cost me money when I can’t use it.
He got on it quick and did what he promised. I also had him fix a lock that I have had problems with for years! Now he is working on a Van Wrap for me.

So impressed with the out come of my windows. At first I was a bit concerned with the appearance of bubbling or purple looking tint. my tint looks awesome. Satisfied.

Great product and great service at competitive prices! The owner, Eddie, is very knowledgeable and personable. I came in with the intentions of just getting my back and side windows tinted, but ended up leaving with my windshield tinted with 3M’s Crystalline Tint as well. And let me tell you, it was well worth the investment to get my windshield tinted! There is no need to wear sunglasses while you drive or a windshield visor while parked. It protects the interior and keeps it cool in the warmer months. Plus, it’s 3M Tint! Life time warranty on products and labor!
Overall experience, VERY satisfied! In fact, I already have my girlfriend’s car scheduled to get tinted next Saturday. I highly recommend Startronics for all you automotive tint and modifications!

I edited some of my previous responses so that I «steer clear of exaggeration and embellishment, and don’t draw conclusions about the broader business practices of the business you reviewed based on your own experience.» I have edited my reviews to state that these are my views and opinions. For example instead of say «This business sucks» to «I feel like this business suck». What I’ve written so far has been to fullest of my understanding only.
I have also read other people reviews and it seems that others have had the same experience as myself. I hope these issues are resolved and that we become better people because of this experience.

I’m not the only person this person has made to feel ripped off. And I hope I’m the last. I wouldn’t want the treatment that I received on my worst enemy.
Lastly I have not spoke to this person since around 2011 that’s more then 3 years ago. Why does he have all this time to sue people. Wasting more of my time.

Outstanding work, very personalized attention and caring customer service. Eddie is a great guy and very detailed with his work. After reading previous reviews I see why some would be negative and it’s not due to startronics, every negative review was due to being late. Here’s the thing to remember when dealing with businesses that consist of having an appointment: If you are given an appointment time show up 15 min early, it’s common sense. These people have a busy schedule that is organized and planned out for the day to provide outstanding service, it’s good enough already that you get a groupon offer but don’t complain that they can’t modify their schedule to fit your needs.
I’ve never been happier with the service Eddie provided, I arrived as a normal customer and left being part of the family wanting to return!

Great place to get your windows tinted. Good customer service.
I bought 3M carbon dark @ 20% all around
With 3M crystalline at 70% windshield.

Just an update– I got a new car delivered and immediately called Eddie to make an appointment to get some kit added starting with a clear bra. They used Xpel and you can’t even tell that its on the car
They also blacked out the roof and spruced up the engine compartment with the 3M wrap and Dinoc. I’m always pleased with the quality of work done at a fair price done by the time its promised.
