Meet the «World’s Freshest Doughnut»! Our doughnuts are made daily, from scratch, using only the finest ingredients possible, and no preservatives… ever! We use fresh, seasonal products and make everything in house from real ingredients — infused glazes, hand crushed jams, flavored custards and creams, and even homemade piecrust and streusel crumble toppings. Our doughnuts are fried in small batches every hour, guaranteeing each customer a fresh and warm treat. Flavor selection changes monthly, with a weekly Gluten Free option that changes every Monday. *PLEASE NOTE: We no longer serve vegan doughnuts! We apologize for the inconvenience!
And since coffee is the essential companion to a good doughnut, Sidecar is proud to offer their very own signature blends, Forty Winks and Colt’s Tooth. We collaborated with Portland’s Stumptown Coffee Roasters to develop these exclusive blends, ensuring each had its own distinct flavor profile and paired perfectly with our distinctive doughnuts.
History
Established in 2012.
Sidecar is the brainchild of chef Brooke Des Prez and Sumter & Chi-lin Pendergrast, a creative team brought together by a shared vision of creating a beautiful, new type of gathering place for their beloved community; one offering perfectly hand-crafted doughnuts, delicious coffee, and infectious smiles for all. With Chef Brooke’s inventive cooking style, and the Pendergrast’s backgrounds in visual arts, the trio brings an artistic flare to the culinary venture, which can be seen in the creativity and passion poured into not only their unique doughnuts, but also into every detail of their brick and mortar stores. Sidecar’s mission is to consistently use a «from the earth» approach in their sourcing of ingredients, their innovation with new flavors, and their commitment to customer service.
