I was born and raised in Virginia. I moved to Los Angeles to persue my dream. I have been a hairstylist and colorist for 10+ years. I truly enjoy what I do and my focus is always client-​centered. The biggest perk is a happy, confident client who leaves feeling like a million dollars.

I’ve lived in LA for six years and I couldn’t find anyone that could cut my bangs perfectly until I met Rachel two years ago! Not only is her salon convenient, free parking is right around the corner, along with the free wine she provides. I recommend her to any and everyone!

I have been seeing Rachel for almost a year now, and she is GREAT with my blonde highlights. She knows exactly how blonde and what kind of blonde I like, and I always leave her salon so excited. She recently took my long flat hair and chopped it into a long bob that I am obsessed with. If you are looking for the perfect blonde highlights or a long bob that isn’t too short, she is your girl!!!

Rachel is an amazing hair stylist! She truly loves her work and it shows in her thoroughness and knowledge in mixing colors. She really takes her time to listen to what you want and delivers the best results! For a very long time I was hesitant to add color to my hair but Rachel really kept me at ease with her knowledge and expertise! My hair looks AMAZING! been going to Natalie for years for my grooming. she’s warm, attentive & honestly cares about doing a good job for her client. she does this cool thing where she cleans up the hair line with a blade. best of all she makes me look so handsome. highly recommend.

Rachel at Rachel Corey Salon is the absolute best!!! She literally SAVED MY HAIR. I met Rachel almost three years ago now and watching her career progress has been a real treat. My rating is mostly based on my experience with Rachel as a colorist — when I say she saved my hair, I mean it! I decided to color my own hair… big mistake with blonde… and Rachel slowly fixed that mess. Even after the first session, there was major improvement! We have tried several new things with my hair over the years and I have never once been disappointed!
I am always impressed by her and would highly recommend visiting her new salon! She is reliable, honest and a genuinely cares about her clients!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Rachel and the Rachel Corey Salon!
I have been a client of Rachel’s for just over 2 years now and I have to say, she is hands down the BEST colorist/​stylist that I have been to. My highlights and cut are always flawless, and that’s because Rachel never rushes her work and takes pride in the job she does.
Also, she is very knowledgeable about the products she uses and takes the time to explain what they are, how to use them, and how they help your hair.
Natalie is the go-​to girl for men’s hair and just like Rachel, she is very good at what she does! My fiancé is one of her clients and he always leaves the salon looking great!
Rachel and Natalie make a great team and their positive attitude and energy feed off each other so well. If you want to surround yourself with GOOD and HARDWORKING people — these 2 are the ones to see! You won’t be disappointed.
The salon itself is very clean, and snacks/​beverages are always available :)

Got my cut and color with Rachel yesterday! I Followed her from another salon and just love her work. She welcomed Natalie on board to work along side her. Natalie is a barber and a damn good one at that!!! My hubby actually gets his hair done by her as well and he is a picky man but Natalie just gets the job done right! Plus now we can do side by side cuts… I know I sound a little lame for that one, but you know you love it!!!
These two women just went out on their own (which take… you know… moxie) and are now located in the salon republics on 2nd street. Upon my arriva, the friendly Front desk of the S.R. walked me to Rachel’s suit where I was offered all sorts of goodies and refreshments before I got into her chair. Her studio is super cute and since it’s just the two of them, I gotta say that when you are in those chairs you feel super VIP.
I know how hard it is to just find and pick a hairdresser in LA, and actually land on a good one. SO I AM TELLING YOU NOW… If you are looking for a real professional that you will actually be happy to pay for (and her prices are not LA prices by the way… SO REASONABLE) this is where you will find them.

When my stylist of 8 years moved out of Los Angeles, I was devastated. It meant 2 years of bouncing from stylist to stylist until I was referred to Rachel. She was able to ascertain exactly what I wanted even when I couldn’t articulate it myself. She’s not only concerned about maintaining the structure and health of my hair, but she is a color expert able to take my naturally colored dirty blond hair to sun kissed blond California perfection.
