Dr Moore is the best endo I’ve found. I’ve had a long struggle finding a doctor who listens to me — once I met Dr Moore I knew I found a match. She thoughtfully listens to all my concerns and adjusts my treatment accordingly. She got my Thyroid stable quickly and is very meticulous about making sure my levels are perfect.
After spending time with other doctors who told me I was just «overworked» (and that my thyroid was fine) it’s refreshing to have a physician who listens and helps. Dr Moore diagnosed a pretty rare issue with my thyroid that 5 other endocrinologists did not care to figure out. The first appointment with Dr Moore she even found a cyst on my thyroid that other doctors had overlooked. She has a amazing attention to detail and a thorough understand of how the body works.
Dr Moore helped me get my life back after a long struggle with thyroid disorder. I can’t thank her enough!!!

Just had to update because I did go back for a biopsy and I gotta say I have never in my life met a more thorough Doctor when it comes to something like this. She did an in depth biopsy, kept checking to see if I was doing ok the entire time, and made the process really informative and easy. I also would like to add that she referred to me a fertility specialist named Dr. Wambach who is absolutely amazing as well. I told Dr. Moore I was seeing Dr. Wambach in a week, and not only did Dr. Moore remember, but she called Dr. Wambach the day of my appointment and prepped her of my situation. I could barely even remember anything without my schedule book, but like I said, Dr. Moore is beyond smart, with a memory like a trap door. I was blown away that a doctor would remember my appointment and go out of her way to call that other doctor to explain things when I had all the paper work there too. I am so lucky to find Dr. Moore and I love her referral to Dr. Wambach who is incredible too. Thank you Dr. Moore for being the most thorough doctor and referring me to a fertility doctor who is just like you, smart, caring, and truly the best. I am so fortunate, and I feel like I am finally in good hands for the first time in my life!

Seriously the rudest doctor I have ever met. The primary care physician who referred me to her warned me of the dearth of good endocrinologists on the Westside, and said that Lisa ‘is definitely not the kind of person you’d invite to your cocktail party’. Within seconds of meeting her, I knew what he meant… she is robotic, entirely without compassion and will not look beyond the TSH reading. Any questions were met with scorn and condescension. Oh, and to get your blood test results, you have to PAY for an in-​person appointment with the charmless doctor herself! No thanks!

Really great doctor. Took a lot of time with me and treated my issue competently. Highly recommend.

I feel like Dr. Moore is a poor listener, which for a doctor, should be your strongest skill. Often times I’m unable to finish my sentence without her interrupting me, and making an assumption about what I’m about to say. Often times, she gets defensive and attacks me, when she senses I’m making a criticism, when all I’m doing is asking a simple question.
I also feel like she doesn’t (or is unwilling) to treat the cosmetic part of PCOS (weight gain, hair loss, etc.) — she only cares about the more serious stuff like diabetes; but in my opinion the cosmetic stuff is important too — not only for quality of life, but simply as an indicator of potential future problems.

Probably the worst doctor I have been too. She is very unfriendly. Doesn’t listen to what you tell her. Makes you come back 5 times so they can charge you co-​pay.

Awful.
I’m sorry to say it, but my experience with Dr. Moore was horrible.
She barely looked at me.
She never, not once, physically examined me.
She overshot my thyroid medication, twice, which led to months and months of increased fatigue. (This sometimes happens, but the two other endos I saw thought the dosage was much too high).
She insisted I get a blood test when I was crying and distressed, instead of realizing I just needed to go calm down, which I repeated several times through tears. This led to nothing, as I was too stressed for my blood to come out… save for a bruised vein for two weeks.
She made me come in for a billed visit just to tell me my results came back and I’ll need to be retested in 3 months. All the while staring at her computer, not looking at me, not examining me, nothing.
Then, I got billed hundreds of dollars for labs claiming that my insurance didn’t cover them (despite triple checking the office was in-​network), which I’m still trying to sort out.
Just, find someone else. If you’re dealing with any health concern, you want EMPATHY and ATTENTIVENESS. You will not find them here.

Dr. Moore is awesome. I used to take my ex boss to see her about once a month because he was elderly and had type 2 diabetes. We tried 5 or 6 other endocrinologists before working with her. My boss had been on SO many different medications for this over the last 5 years he was very frustrated with the side effects. He ended up using an insulin pump and loved it.
We found Dr. Moore to be extremely knowledgeable, caring and an overall lovely human. She listened very well to our concerns and really understood his medical history before treating him.
I highly recommend Dr. Moore and I miss seeing her. It was always a fun visit. :)

The worse doctor I have ever met in my life!!! The worse facility, with the worse employees. RUN!
I went to this hard to get to office, with the nonchalant office workers, questionnaire previously mailed out, then re-​questioned by the doctors assistant before seeing the doctor. And when asked the same questions and given an answer to the RN/Doctor’s assistant she became very defensive as if I were not and could NOT be going through those things.
Upon seeing the DOCTOR Lisa Moore, she too asked the same questions, now for the third time. And yes another repeat of the same thing. I did NOT feel comfortable with her knowing what doctor I have seen, what time of the day it was, nor where. Guess what, because I wanted a fresh opinion and whatever number of opinions I want. Until I felt comfortable to make a decision to have surgery or not. I am not a scissor nip tuck happy type of girl, NOT when it is not necessary, therefore, WE HAD IT OUT. She demanded more information to be dropped off to her from previous doctors… I NEVER gave it.
It has been a year later, and somehow she still bothers me. Especially after recently receiving an extra surprise bill of $ 125.00 after over a year. Supposedly, because what I previously paid was for another institution and through non insurance. Yet her name was definitely on and approved by my insurance. Her and her office was a pain.
P.S: I was wiling to proceed in dealing with her clique attitude, however her office team was not helpful in even sending to the correct location for x-​rays. They gave me the wrong address.

I was sent to Dr. Lisa Moore. She seems very knowledgable and thorough. She has a front office person, Christina who has also helped me out quite a bit. She can juggle a phone ringing off the hook and work wonders to get my test results and appointments taken care of.
