I was overcharged, received terrible counsel, threatened and completely ripped off by an unethical criminal posing as a lawyer. Hart took me on as a client for a fraction of what the other attorney had charged me and proceeded to help me unravel the mess he had made. Beware — there are attorneys out there with manipulated Unilocal accounts who threaten people who post honest, bad reviews of them and manipulate their ratings at every opportunity. I’ve been to a circle in Hell, but whatever the Universe had planned for me, I somehow made it back to earth with the help of Hart Levin and his amazing team. I still live in the shadows of what I have been through, but thanks to this incredible man, and a lot of loving support from my parents and therapist, I don’t have to experience the years of prison time that hung over my head for something I didn’t feel I deserved.
I had two cases on me at the same time, in different courthouses, too. Right before the jail time and the court dates, I had basically lost everything, including hope. I’m not sure how my parents found Hart, but I couldn’t be happier with their decision. I was scared, traumatized, completely out of touch with the world, and had no idea how the justice system works since I have never been in trouble with the law, other than one speeding ticket. But Hart Levin was there to listen and provide me with his many years of experience and knowledge dealing with victims of DV. (Though I never blatantly expressed this, he knew I was one of the worst cases he had come across, and he told me he wanted to help.)
Hart Levin was calm and collected, but firm when need be, especially when my anxiety would take the better of me. His team took care of one case on my behalf so I didn’t have to appear in person, and Hart himself took up my bigger case. He knew how to act, what to say, how to calm me down before every court date. It was like watching magic happen. He somehow even got the judge and the DA to connect with my side of the story, humanizing and separating what the police reports make me out to look like, and who I really was. He got me the best possible deal from my troubles that I thought was near impossible to escape. Though I still have my own job to do for the judge’s unbelievable final orders, Hart Levin made me a believer in the Justice System, and regained my faith in humanity.
It’s been over a year since the first time I met Hart, and though the battle is near its end, I am touched by a bittersweet feeling of having to part with such a magnificent attorney and team leader. I am so grateful every day for all the support and help Hart had given me, and for the peace of mind my parents received. I won’t be burning in the fire, but now I need to keep my head high and march on forward across the bed of burning coals that remained after Hart put out the roaring flames before me. Hart J. Levin is the most patient, intelligent, and dedicated attorney, and his law office is definitely a first class choice for having on your side in your time of need. If it were up to me, I would hire Mr. Levin for a lifetime.

Long story short — I got in trouble. Big trouble. I was doing a Google search for best DUI attorneys in the LA area and Hart Levin popped up. The BEST dui firm is an understatement. This office handled everything for me and was very responsive and prompt when I asked for status or input on my case from the free consultation to my ‘congrats’ phone call. When finally settled — they got me THE BEST settlement possible for ANY DUI case.
I’m not going to lie — I teared up.
What should have been many multiple thousands in fines, cal trans, MADD, insurance, blower, program, license suspension, jail time xyz and anything else LA County DA could have stuck me with and would have gotten if I didn’t hire this office — I walked away with a reasonable fine, 9 month program sr22 and a blower (la county law in first offense) and a smile on my face.

Hello everyone! I rarely write reviews but this time I felt that I really needed too. Over the New Year Holiday I got a situation with the Law. I was caught speeding and under the influence of alcohol. Being that I had never been in trouble with the law before I did a little research of my charges and found that I could loose my license and serve jail time. After endless researching my brother pointed me in the direction of Hart. Man am I thankful! Hart truly saved my life. I could have lost everything I’ve worked for in the past 10 years because of one mistake. Hart took care of it for me I received minimal fines and NO JAIL TIME also had the speeding charge dropped which was what would have put me in jail. Thank you Hart!

When looking for an attorney to represent a family member, I found a website that proposed several different attorneys that were qualified to handle the type of case we had. In August of 2014 I was arrested for DUI. I was working out of state and had no ideal what to do in this situation. I knew I had a problem and I had no ideal how I was going to get through this unwanted legal mess. As a contract engineer, my career is dependent upon my reputation and background. A blemish of this sort can land me in the unemployment line with no future prospects of returning to work.
After researching for the absolute best lawyer and reading all of the reviews I decided on the Law Offices of Hart Levin. My initial consultation with Hart was full of brutal honesty. Hart delivered the news as compassionately as only a friend could have done. Honesty,… that was something I was not prepared to hear. He explained the outcome to be expected from this type of case and to prepare for the worst.
We developed a strategy to approach the DMV and the criminal cases which were tried separately. It took a few months but I finally put the plug in the jug for good and prepared for the worst. I lost my license and was bracing for the criminal case. The DMV in California always suspends the licenses. If you are arrested, be ready for this to happen as their is nothing that can be done by anyone and it is best if you expect it and accept it.
The criminal case had a different outcome. We looked at different circumstances and evidence to be presented in case there needed to be a trial. After a few meetings with the District Attorney, Hart was able to negotiate a reduced charge of «Wet and Wreckless». I did not have to install a breathalyzer, no jail time or community service either. I do have a fine and I have time to pay it.
Here it is in a nutshell. I made a mistake and I am damn lucky to have had Hart represent me in my darkest hour. He showed compassion, integrity, and humility. Good luck finding that in a lawyer! If you made a mistake or find yourself in a legal battle, you could do no better that have Hart Levin and his team represent you.
I would also like to thank Matthew and Jill for helping me as well. They showed the same diligence, compassion and understanding as Hart did.
My best advice to someone with a DUI/​DWI is this:
1. Find help to quit your drinking right NOW before you kill yourself or someone else. You have proven to yourself that you are not good at it.

I remember when I first got the DUI, I was super stressed out. But after researching online and reading through TONS of Unilocal reviews, I decided to give a call to Hart’s Law Office. And I am SO GLAD that I did.
When I called Hart and told him about my case, he was super friendly and helpful. So, I took a further step and set up an appointment with him at his office to talk about my case. When we met in person, I could tell straight off the bat that Hart is super knowledgable and confident. He walked me through the process, step-​by-​step, and I left the office feeling much more relieved and calm.
The BEST thing is that I never had to go to court, and that was good for me since I was so busy with school. But, Hart and his staff made sure I stayed updated with my case. So I never really had to worry about anything.

So was driving home one day from a party and I got pulled over by CHP near Valley Village. CHP did there Sobriety testing and what not and said I was drunk so they took me in. I found Mr. Levin immediately after I regretfully was charged with a DUI last February. He was immediately available to talk and I got very good vibes from him just with one phone conversation.
