Laila Haoud

Laila Haoud is an excellent scam artist. Her specialty is screwing up home modifications. She charges $ 3300 up front to handle your mod, and then it takes, maybe 2 or 3 years before it is turned down. In the meantime, your home goes to auction several times, she somehow stops the sale, and then advises you to file BK to be «protected.» from foreclosure. Actually, it never should have gone to auction/​sale at all. If you say, e-​mail, or text anything she feels is disrespectful, or out of line, or, who knows?, she goes absolutely insane. Finally, she assures you that she has refiled your modification, that she has someone, «on the inside,» and therefore it is guaranteed to be approved. And, for this you only have to pay her $ 2500.
She is a licensed Real Esate Agent, (here I come Board of Realtors), and is studying to «pass the bar.» She says she wants to be an attorney. God help us all.
Recently, (over the last month), she has apparently disappeared. Her company name is no longer on the internet, and she is impossible to reach.
