The Egg Freezing Center (EFC) is led by Dr. John Jain, an internationally recognized expert in egg freezing research with broad experience in all areas of fertility treatment. Dr. Jain completed his medical training at the University of Southern California, where he remained for nearly a decade as a tenured professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His research has translated to outstanding results for his egg freezing patients and the highest pregnancy rates in the country. Last year, he was awarded the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society’s top research prize for his work in egg freezing. He brings his extensive knowledge and expertise to EFC, where we hope to put it to work for you. With over 50 live births from frozen eggs we have one of the highest success rates in the world.

History

Established in 2007.

Our expertise in the field of egg freezing is unmatched. Dr. Jain conducted one of the earliest prospective egg freezing studies in North America yielding a birth rate comparable to that seen with frozen embryos– A significant accomplishment in 2005. He created the egg freezing program at USC, and he brings that resource to EFC. We also work closely with cancer specialists on a comprehensive program of fertility preservation. This technology is truly life-​changing for women who are diagnosed with cancer and facing sterilizing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Jain has twenty-​five years of academic experience including a decade as a decorated professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the USC Keck School of Medicine. During his tenure at USC, he spearheaded egg freezing research and subsequently created the university’s egg freezing program. He now brings that expertise to the Egg Freezing Center.

He remains dedicated to advancements in the area of cryopreservation through cutting-​edge research at Santa Monica Fertility and LIFE Research.

Education

*Dr. Jain completed his BA in Classical Greek Civilization, MS, in Anatomy and Cell Biology, and MD from the University of Southern California.

*He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California where he remained a full-​time faculty member until 2007.
