If I could give negative stars I would. Where to begin…
— I have a dairy allergy; ordered a vegan smoothie and it tasted weird– so I asked if something was bad in it. They replied– oh that’s just the whey protein– we’re out of the plant protein. Wtf? Who does that???
–they are ALWAYS out of coffee.
–they have terrible customer service

Had earth bar for the first time. Gf picked up one for me to try. Had the big breakfast. Had bananas and almonds. Two of my fav ingredients. Very thick consistency and very chalky in taste. Good enough to replace a meal because it is so thick. I didn’t care for the consistency so much so was not able to finish mine. Not sure if it was just that particular drink that tasted that way. Wouldn’t mind trying their juices next time.

Employees are mostly EXTREMELY cool. However, the new management is horrible. They more than double the markup without any loyalty discount for bulk or repeat business. $ 4+ for a 2 $ protein bar is not sustainable. Whoever lavished praise in the last review seems like a pro Unilocaler. Earthbar is convenient but I will go out of my way to avoid giving them biz now that they are charging such a big markup. Boo.

It barely hit 3pm o’clock on a Sunday afternoon. I locally work nearby and was told rudely told it was closed. Beacuse I work nearby I feel community and the workers should stick tight. If they had walked into my place I would served based on the fact I know theyre working nearby and know I can emphatize.

Tried to get a smoothie on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30, and was told by the working employee that they were closed, even though they are scheduled to close at 6:00. The employee said that since he was by himself, he was closing early because there was a lot of clean up to do, and he wanted to get started early. This is not the first time I’ve been refused service during scheduled open hours. Their schedule is flexible at best. They seem to close whenever they feel like it, and even times they are open, they will refuse to make smoothies because they don’t want to deal with the clean up. I’m sorry, but when 90% of your menu is juice or smoothies, you should serve them until you close.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and was told «we’re done with doing juices for the day».

Located inside of Equinox, earth bar is the perfect complimentary to a high end gym.
This earth bar is nothing compared to their main flagship one on Santa Monica Blvd in WeHo (obviously) but it’s good enough when you want to pick up a snack post workout. They stock lots of pre-​cooked packaged hot foods, cold pressed juices and what not. I actually LOVED their pre-​made food (they will heat it up for you too, if you’re looking to eat it right away.) my favorites are the Grilled Chicken & Yams (only 210+ calories and all deliciousness), the Paleo Chicken as well as anything from they Raw Vegan Kitchen series (must get the Raw Pad Thai!)
My only thing about this earth bar is that their smoothies are very inconsistent. Some days they are delicious and some days they are disgusting (I’ve had to trash mine a couple of times right after getting it) just depending on who makes it.
They stock cold pressed juices too that are pre-​made which is nice and convenient but I’d say taste mediocre compared to places like pressed juicery or moon juice, a couple of miles away. Still, it’s super convenient and works for me when I need something post workout. I’ll take it.

How is it POSSIBLE that I’m the first one to review this popular joint?
Always in here after hitting the gym to get the organic protein smoothies and healthy prepared meals (vegan options, paleo options, healthy salads/​snacks all delivered daily). It’s a tiny unassuming fridge totally full of lean goodies! My fave and most popular is the Kale salad (always runs out mid-​day) and for some weird reason I like their inari! Currently liking the Chocolate Supreme Smoothie, but beware there’s a slight tartness (not like a ice-​creamy chocolate milkshake)
