Owner is rude. I came in as vendor and he kicked me out. Doesn’t e realize that I’m also a potential customer as well? What an asshole. Don’t patronize a place doesnt know how to treat people.

PRO: When the order is done right, it’s satisfying. CON: They are no good at informing their customers on what ingredients they ran out of. Once you take a look at your sandwich it’s practically just lettuce and tomatoes in between the bread! What the heck happened to the rest of the ingredients!!! My error was going back regardless on the service. It happened 3 times! Two thumbs down. *Added note: Customer service is bad. The owner is rude and even if THEY got your order wrong they will not make any attempts to keep you as a customer.

The owner doesn’t care for profits… he is here to make sure you leave before you finishing eating. I offer to give more money so that he would make change for the meters… he refused to accept the extra money, wanted me to pay for the food and then go to the bank for four quarters. Why make a profit when you could throw out a customer? Either is doesn’t need customers or quarters were REALLY scarce… geez, only four quarters dude!

I am definitely a fan! Despite the crazy Japanese man that works here(completely harmless, thinks he is sooooo funny) this place is great for on-the-go type of food! There is an array of sandwiches, breakfast goodies, muffins, and more. I work right across the street and am able to get a quick reasonable meal here if I don’t bring my lunch.

Yes, the guy who works there is crazy. I should know– I’ve been a customer for almost 7 years, the amount of time I’ve worked in the medical building upstairs. He’s so crazy that I refer to him as «Crazy Man.» Basically, if you gives you an odd stare or makes a wacky remark, give it right back. He’s insane, yet harmless. I don’t know how his sweet wife(the sandwich maker) puts up with him every day, but anyway. The food is decent and the location is convenient. Worth a shot if you want a sandwich or the daily hot food special.

This place is terrible. I was at the medical center because my husband was in for dental surgery and decided to find a coffee shop to have a tea and wait. I agree with the previous reviewer that the place is one of the most uncomfortable coffee shops I have ever been in. The waiter is also extremely hostile. I purchased a tea, and opened my laptop to read my email. The owner came over, stood about 5 inches from me, and glared down at me and my computer. The coffee shop was empty. He did this twice. Then at some point, he started shouting that I couldn’t work in the coffee shop(even though I had only been in there for ten minutes), and that I had to get out. I hadn’t even finished ¼ of my tea. I indicated that there were no signs saying that extended loitering was allowed, nor did he politely tell me so. I am shocked at how they could treat customers that way. No wonder the place was completely empty when I walked in. Terrible service. It’s really appalling that a medical center would allow that kind of service.

It’s in the middle of the library with an outdoor patio that has some fake streams. So it’s very convenient if you happen to be at the library or are looking for a relatively uncrowded and quiet space to study or work. A large group is not recommended given the atmosphere. Quiet conversation among a small group would be OK. The place is well kept and they have a variety of deli foods, pastries, and coffee drinks. I’ve had their BLT(which was good) and a few pastries. There’s nothing particularly amazing about the place, but it’s one of the cheaper spots in the area. I’ll be back.

Food is excellent — fresh and tasty! Prices are very reasonable as well! I recommend this place and suggest trying a number of their healthy sandwiches, including Good Earth!

As I munch on my lunch… My coworker Dr. G bought the office lunch today. This place is in walking distance to us. We all went for the #11 tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat. It’s pretty good! Prices is reasonable. About $ 5 for a sandwich comes with pickles, lettuce, cucumber & carrots. I called in the order. No problems. Super fast. Safe place for a sandwich if you’re in the area and looking for lunch on the go.

I was in this place for ½ hour or less while waiting for a friend who was having a medical procedure. I can honestly say that I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place of business, let alone a coffee shop. The worker/possible owner repeatedly gave me stares/glances as if I was loitering. When I made an additional purchase he took my empty plastic fruit bowl from my hand and literally slung it behind him onto a nearby table. If the stares and slinging were not baffling enough, I then saw a strained interaction with a customer who glared at him as she left the restaurant. They were both staring at one another as she walked on the sidewalk past the restaurant window. This worker was rather hostile. As for me, I left and went to the hospital cafeteria to wait.
