History

Established in 2014.

It all started off with John Rice, a small town Minnesota native, and a passion for computers. John Stared programming when he 15 years old, and set a chain of events that would lead him to build Create LA. At the age of 19 John moved to Redondo Beach CA, where he started attending Santa Monica College, and began his computer science degree. From there he dove deep into the tech community, and began making webpages for local business and startups. He began doing freelance work until he moved to Santa Monica where him, and some other programmers started Create LA.
