Cienega Med Spa – Santa Monica

Just had my second session for laser hair removal with the Alma laser with Jennifer. I am so happy my sister-​in-​law referred me here. In just two sessions I have seen a 70% reduction in hair regrowth. It was painless and easy and Jennifer was professional, attentive to detail, kind and put me at ease. I have had several other laser hair removal treatments at a dermatologist office in Beverly Hills and did not see any significant reduction. I was paying more and getting a lesser effect which is why I am so grateful to Cienega Med Spa for offering a great service with quality equipment and trained providers who do awesome work!

Yay for pain-​free laser hair removal!
I’ve been debating laser hair removal for a long time now, but for financial reasons and a big fear of pain, I’ve always been hesitant about going for it. Finally, after finding this place via Unilocal,I decided to go for it and schedule my first appointment. At the time of this appointment, I’ve been to Cienega Med Spa twice — both times have been excellent!
I’ve done two treatments of laser hair removal for my bikini area and one treatment for my upper lip. As promised, both times have been pain free which was perfect for my low pain tolerance. There was very little discomfort, and before you know it, the procedure was over. Both times, I’ve had awesome experiences with the staff. Both nurses were excellent in making me feel at ease and not all awkward, despite having to be in weird positions hahhaa. :)
As for results, I’ve definitely noticed reduction in hair, even after only one session. I booked a package of 6 for my bikini area, and I’m planning on booking another package for my upper lip and underarms. Ehhh, what can you say, I’m just a hairy person. :P But ANYWAY, booking in a package is also perfect for me, because it helps keep the cost per session down :)
I highly recommend Cienega Med Spa. The location is super clean, and the customer service is stellar. And if you’re scared of pain, no fear because the claims are true! I love how easy it is to book appointments online. Both times, I’ve been able to get in the next day, which is awesome.
Bottom line– laser hair removal is honestly one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I’m glad I chose this place to do it. :)

I have had Cool Sculpting at this location and am pretty satisfied with my results.

We love this facility! Jenn was so nice and she knew her vitamins! She gave us honest tips and she can definitely hold a conversation. She was funny and super sweet and because of her customer service we can’t wait to come back again!
We are regulars at the Beverly Hills Med Spa for IV Therapy and wished this location would open later so that we can come here, but both places have a nice staff.

This was my first visit and I was thrilled! The office was clean and bright and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I encountered a problem filling out my client forms and she fixed it right away. The office manager is readily available if any of the staff have questions or problems. I went in to see Lorrie for Dysport (a type of botox) and she was fantastic! I will definitely be back to see her soon!

It has been about three months since I finished my 6-​pack of bikini and underarm laser hair removal treatments. The hair has returned to its normal growth rate. The most coarse hairs are gone. Based on the amount of hair was removed versus the cost, I wouldn’t do it again.

Second Time I have visited here and I just love them! I had laser hair removal (just finished my second treatment) and I couldn’t fault them!
The staff are knowledgable, caring, friendly, and do a super job! Best part of it is its pain free. Just bought a package of 10 and will be finishing my course of treatments there with the staff at la cienega! Thanks so much

My initial visit with Beverly Hills Cienega Med Spa for a large liquid fit IV treatment went extremely well. It was painless and comforting. The facility looks awesome and more importantly it’s clean. The staff were very nice and accommodating @ all times.
Looking forward for my next visit :)

Cienega is a great Med Spa, I saw other reviews on Unilocal and decided to check it out. When I arrived I was greeted warmly. I inquired about services for that day and they were immediately accommodating. The Botox injections were probably the best I have received, not painful, and she was very quick!
I will definitely be back for Botox and maybe try some cool sculpting! Thanks

I rarely rave about med spas but this place deserves it.
1) Staff — Simply awesome. Ruhi is my nurse & she gave me great (natural!) results with my Juvederm. My lips have the perfect pout. She’s always super sweet with a big grin — you would think she never has a bad day! She’s confident in the way she talks too, which calmed my nerves greatly.
2) They’re organized! I get email confirmations of my appointments & reminders. ANDDDD whenever I walk in, they greet me by name cause they know I’m coming. They actually checked their calendars to see who their upcoming appointment is. Every med spa should do this! I feel like family there now.
3) Flexible hours: They’re open Sat & Sun which is so convenient for 9−5ers.
4) The spa is super clean & modern. It looks very high end with a very personable experience.
I’m getting Cool Sculpting with them soon. Excited to get rid of these banana rolls once & for all!

I love this place. Best customer service. I come here for IVs and injections weekly they have awesome customer service super sweet employees and are quick and efficient! Didn’t hurt one bit!!!

I just had my massage with Seven and he was great! I had read the other Unilocal reviews and decided to book online (super convenient) at like midnight last night, and got in today. I can be a massage snob, and really appreciated the little things that Seven did to make the massage even better (like washing the oil from his hands before giving a scalp massage so you don’t have super greasy hair after). loved it and already booked my next massage for next month! Parking was easy on the street meters, the place smells great, and the front desk staff was super friendly. Definitely recommended! :)

This is such a relaxing and lovely place to go. I go every month for a refresh and this month was fanstastic as always.
I had a prenatal massage from Seven, he really knows how to help with the hip pain, a lovely clarifying massage by him and then some NIR. I have found NIR to not only keep the face looking perky, but it also helps kill bacteria deep under the skin which prevents cycstic acne and acne in general.
Buy packages! You will be back and it is a great savings.

I was referred to Cienega Med Spa by a friend of mine. I purchased a package for six sessions of laser hair removal.
I’ve had four full bikini sessions so far and I love the results and the service.
As far as laser hair removal goes, I recommend Cienega Med Spa because it’s painless and the nurses and technicians are attentive to you (the client). I find that it is overpriced compared to offers you can find on groupon and what not, but I still go here because of my personal experience. I had laser hair removal over seven years ago when it wasn’t painless and I wouldn’t want to take the chance with a discounted offer these days when I can pay more and get great service and it is really painless.
There are other services offered here that I’m interested in but haven’t tried. I plan on editing this review when I try something else. I have two friends that also go here for laser.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been a loyal patron at Cienega Med Spa for over two years. I recently booked an appointment for a Skin Perfection Technology session with Laurie and the results were amazing!
A few years ago when I was in my 20’s, it was kind of a thing to be a beach bum. Fast forward to today (now in my early 30’s) I was left with minor sun damage and these tiny little bumps on my chest. The bumps never really bothered me but it kinda did so I asked Laurie to take a look at it one day while I was there getting a massage. After Laurie explained the treatment process and down time, I felt confident to book my appointment and so I did!
Just two weeks after my first session, the bumps are gone. My skin is perfectly milky again (Laurie’s words, not mine) but seriously there are no scars. Wish I had a before and after photo but I really didn’t know what to expect. I’m just glad I finally did it. A big thank you to the Cienega Med Spa team!

I have been going to Cienega Med Spa for about a year and a half. All of their services are top-​notch and the staff are always friendly. These are the services I’ve received.
— Massage: Seven is a great masseuse. He is awesome at working out all the tension in my shoulders and neck without it hurting like hell! He has a very calming energy which helps because the whole point is to de-​stress!
— Acupuncture: Dr. Gorman is a magic worker. She made my first Acupuncture experience really comfortable and would sometimes add on a mask while I was getting the acne treatment done. Surprisingly, she would place needles all over my body, not just the face, to alleviate stress and digestive issues as well. Overall, my energy levels were higher and I always feel refreshed after a session.
— Facial: The last facial I received was the Diamond Micro-​dermabrasion Facial to reduce hyper-​pigmentation. They used a Clarisonic (my first time trying it!) and my skin felt so smooth afterwards. I got the Vitamin C serum and Brown Algae spot treatment as my 2 optional add-​ons. All the products they use are medical grade, high quality and smell great!
They just remodeled too and the place looks beautiful. Really calming atmosphere and excellent customer service!
