History

Established in 1980.

Caliifornia Cooperage was named after the process of making wine barrels. The parent company was started by pioneers in the redwood hot tub industry. Our business, California Cooperage of Santa Monica began as an independent dealer in these hot tub products. Eventually, the parent company and manufacturer was sold to a large US company, and later sold again. By this time, as California Cooperage of Santa Monica, we were selling portable and in-​ground spas as well as wood hot tubs. Through the decades we have sold just about every spa on the market, and feel that Jacuzzi Premium is currently the best product out there and proudly offer it. We still offer cedar and redwood hot tubs, as well as FreeFlow spa products. We are a family-​owned small business and have operated at the same location in Santa Monica since 1985.
