Dr. Nguyen has been amazing for both my wife and myself. She is compassionate and won’t give up until you feel better. She has been working with my wife for 4 months now and she is doing much better. Dr. Nguyen is now working with me and I already highly recommend her. It might be a bit more costly, but when compared to what traditional medicine costs and the usual lack-​luster results, the extra expenditure is worth it. Factoring in a better quality of life, and the decision is a no brainer.

Dr. Nguyen is AMAZING! She is, without a doubt, one of THE BEST doctors I have ever met. Last week I scheduled my first appointment with her as I have been experiencing depression and exhaustion for quite some time. Dr. Nguyen was VERY friendly and thorough when reviewing my previous medical history. She also helped narrow down the possible causes of my depression and offered several solutions as to how to best treat my condition. I’m confident that we will be able to combat my illness with great success over the next few weeks. It’s evident that Dr. Nguyen truly cares about her patients and thinks outside the box when it comes to medical treatments. I highly recommend her!

I have suffered from chronic lower back pain for 15 years, and just completed my fifth acupuncture session with Dr. Nguyen. I have noticed improvements already, and can’t say enough about how happy I am with her. Like other reviewers, I found her compassionate and caring, a great listener, and really dedicated toward helping me heal. She has also helped me coordinate with other medical providers, and was great about making sure that my insurance was used as much as possible. I would highly recommend her!

After successfully treating my mother I decided to see Dr Nguyen for some health upsets I’d been having. She once again worked miracles, discovering the root cause of issues that had been bothering me for years and providing a fantastic treatment program that has already started working! She is attentive and takes all things into consideration when treating you and she knows what she is doing. I can’t recommend her enough. I have been seeing naturopaths for years and have never found someone as thorough and helpful and compassionate as Dr Nguyen. Again, I can’t recommend her enough! I’m very grateful to have found her.

I have seen Dr. Nguyen one time and I think she is great. Dr. Nguyen did not rush through my appointment and actively listened while I explained my concerns; she is very personable and made me feel comfortable. While I was discussing other health problems, I mentioned that I have back problems. Without hesitation, Dr. Nguyen suggested a cupping session (which helped immensely) and my appointment time did not suffer! Dr. Nguyen does not have a direct phone number or email address, however whenever I email her secretary a question, Dr. Nguyen always calls me to discuss my questions within a few hours. I am very lucky that I was able to find such a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Nguyen is unique in that she is trained in both Eastern and Western medicine and is able to focus on the intersection of the two. She sees things differently than a typical physician and is truly holistic in her approach. She has a friendly and warm bedside manner, is extremely concerned for her patients’ health, and is very generous with her time. She is an excellent naturopath and acupuncturist but more importantly is able to view each patient as an individual; she considers one’s medications, habits, diet, other diagnoses and other elements in developing a treatment plan. She is very highly recommended.

Dr. Nguyen is very thorough. She not only lets you express your health concerns, she also asks very detailed and pointed questions to get to the bottom of what could be causing your symptoms. She really makes you feel looked after, doesn’t rush you out, and takes the time to explain her diagnosis. I’ve spent more time in an appointment with her than any other doctor. She’s great, and I believe she cares about helping patients and doesn’t rush into prescribing medications.

I have been seeing Naturopathic Dr’s for years and I appreciate Dr. Nguyen’s work, however, she does not have a phone number where you can reach a live person, nor an email that is direct to her office. She only has a part-​time person with a blocked email that responds to problems most of the time a day or two later. She does not handle billing and I was willing to do the reimbursement forms but I’ve been through 4 cycles now where she hasn’t filled out the receipts correctly from her tax ID#, to diagnosis codes, to leaving things blank, not legible etc., so I’ve had a nightmare trying to get my payments reimbursed even though she is a preferred provider for my insurance carrier. I would rather go to another Dr. that is more set up for business.

She is the best. Very caring and really listens and helps.

Dr. Nguyen has has found gaps in my health which wasn’t detected by conventional medicine. I’m very happy to have found her. She’s knowledgeable and takes her time to explain what’s going on. She’s found a way to help my body to function at it’s maximum potential. I like her approach of naturally supporting the body to heal itself. I finally feel that I’m in good hands and not just second guessing anymore.

Never thought i’d give a review on doctors, but after i was treated by Dr. Nguyen, i felt compelled since she’s in the business to help people feel and be healthier.
Being active my whole life, I played contact sports growing up all the way through high school and and i’ve kept up to with it as much as i could for a variety of reasons (stay fit, cardio exercise, be competitive, de-​stressor!, etc.)… One thing i’ve noticed now that I’m on the wrong side of thirties are the aches and pains, some of which can be severe at times. Having bitched and moaned about it to my family and friends, a friend suggested that I go see Dr. Nguyen.
Aside from hitting traffic on the 405, I couldn’t be more pleased w/​the results of my visit. I’d do the drive over and over again if i had to. Dr. Nguyen was very attentive and personable. She took the time to go through my medical history carefully and asked me questions to about my lifestyle. Bottom line is i felt that she actually cared about my well-​being… From there we had series of sessions where she did acupuncture and cupping on my problem areas (lower back, neck, knees, shoulder, ankles, and right elbow). Not only that she was gave me some tips to do at home (stretching exercises, natural herbs/​food, etc.) to help improve my body and overall health.
Its been a while since I went back to seek treatment from Dr. Nguyen now that my body is feeling much better. However, I’ve thinking about going to see Dr. Nguyen to develop a nutritional plan using natural food to cleanse my system, so i can start living an even healthier life.

Dr. Nguyen is a kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and very skilled acupuncturist. We were recommended by our PCP and are very thankful.
Dr. Nguyen has helped my husband’s back pain (2 pinched nerves) and has helped me to find balance and reduce my stress. She is careful to do a full medical history and she highly intuitive.
Today was my husband’s 3^rd visit for acupuncture and cupping. He has made more progress in 3 visits than in two years with «conventional medicine.» Today was my 2^nd visit. On the first visit, I had only acupuncture and today Dr. Nguyen decided to use the cupping technique on me to reduce the stress in my shoulders, neck and upper back (where I hold my stress!.) It was a truly peculiar experience — and felt like constant deep tissue massage and left circular bruises! However, it really helped to ease the tension. It was worth it even though some places are tender to the superficial touch. I feel more balanced, more rested already — after only 2 visits.
Most importantly, my husband is able to rest without pain for the first time since either of us can remember. He is working with Dr. Nguyen on a cleansing program — something he needs to keep his body in balance. I’m going to explore this as well. Dr. Nguyen guides you through the process and you can buy the supplies from her. NO — she is not pushing the product on you — merely making suggestions and actually works out to be pretty reasonable — if you’ve ever purchased supplements from Whole Foods — you’ll see the prices are comparable.
I strongly feel the main reason we are both feeling better is that we have peace of mind that we are working with a practitioner who truly cares and wants to see us achieve and maintain balance! Dr. Nguyen accepts our SAG/​Blue Cross insurance but I’m not sure what else she accepts. You can park the 11 340 building (usually about $ 12) or across the street in the Marshall’s garage — free for 2 hours — or on the street and feed the meters. Her office is on the 3^rd floor — all the way at the end (#301). The receptionist is lovely — very friendly and helpful.
All in all a great experience. You will be better for having visiting Dr. Nguyen! We are!

Dr. Nguyen is such a GEM — a rarity — especially in Southern California. This is NOT a typical doctor’s office where you wait for at least 45 mins & see the doc for only 5 minutes for them to just prescribe medications. Dr. Nguyen actually cares! She is not the type who pushes unnecessary procedures to increase production. She is so thorough with her treatment and you can see that SHE puts her whole heart and effort to finding the source of the issue. She did cupping on me, acupuncture and put me through detox and it all helped so much — I cannot wait to come back to relieve some muscle pain via acupuncture & cupping.

Dr. Ann Marie Nguyen is highly trusted and recommended by my primary practitioner and pediatrician. At first I was hesitant to see a naturopathic doctor because as a child I had poor experiences with Eastern medicine. With these experiences I created negative stereotypes for naturopathic doctors and Eastern medicine. However, I am truly grateful to have met and have Dr. Ann Marie Nguyen as my doctor. I have nothing but praise for her. She is exceptionally knowledgeable in Eastern and Western approaches to naturopathic healing as well as «Western Medicine» and continues to stay up to date. She takes her time to understand the «whole you» — physically, mentally, and emotionally to help figure out what is the cause of your discomfort.
