History

Established in 2014.

Recognizing there was a need in our region, MIYB Spaces was created to serve as the hub for the creation of a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region. By providing area entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators with a full-​service center, where they can access needed resources for business launch and/​or expansion, network with like-​minded individuals, collaborate with others, and participate in networking events and seminars/​workshops on various topics — MIYB Spaces will facilitate the launch, growth, and expansion of business in our region.

MIYB Spaces is a division of Make It YOUR Business, Inc., a California Benefit Corporation. Our commitment to the region is to do all in our power to support the growth of entrepreneurial opportunities. Actions we will take in support of that commitment will include working with regional partners — such as Women’s Economic Ventures, Spokes for Non-​Profits, and SCORE to provide much needed services within the scope of MIYB Spaces.

Meet the Business Owner

Anne C.

Business Owner

After owning a variety of small businesses over the course of 20 years, Anne started earning her 3 college degrees — BS, MBA, and DBA — all in Business Administration & Management. For the past 15 years she has committed her professional life to coaching/​mentoring entrepreneurs as they launch their educational/​professional experiences. As an instructor at Allan Hancock College and owner of MIYB Spaces, Anne’s work hours are spent literally «starting businesses» on a daily basis.
