Absolute worst customer service ever. They called us liars when they rented us equipment that did not work, leaked oil everywhere and was not sharp. They refused to refund us our money back after a full days labor was lost. Do not rent from this company, we are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Awful company. Uses v poor business practice. Contract says one thing their mouth says another. Basically called US the liar. Late on delivery and pick up. Poor management and owner does not value his customers. Copied down wrong credit card number, paperwork you sign contradicts itself. Legally he’s walking on shady ground.
Had to give one star for the machine. No stars for the people from the top down to the lying delivery person. Fugly people !

I’d rather say NO STARS for Tony’s Rental. What began as quite a pleasant experience renting a largish backhoe for some road work became a very disappointing result. When we rented the machine, Tony made a point of saying he rents his machines for a 7 day week vs the ‘other guys’ who rent based on a 5 day week. What he failed to tell us, even after conversing about this fact for a few minutes was in fact, a 7 day week means 40 hours. Not once did he mention how much it would cost if we in fact went over 40 hours. You may be asking, why didn’t you read the contract? You’re right. My bad. I should have read the itty bitty print at the bottom which said 40 hours was one week. I will never ever recommend them to anyone — even when I attempted to discuss this with them, no budge 40 hours is 40 hours… too bad you had it for 7 days and used it for 58 hours… I’m in the service business and Tony needs a lesson or two as to what the word SERVICE means. It means you clearly describe the basics and ESPECIALLY the finer print of the contract. When we called and asked how much it would cost to keep it an extra day, $ 220 was the estimate. Did they mention that would mean 8 hours only? Did they remind us that a week was really only 40 hours and not the 58 hours total that we used it? Nope. Why would they? Truly CRAPPY and MISLEADING business practice (s).
