Sears Auto Center

Fernando the Manager and Nick the mechanic were outstanding. I was on the way to Santa Fe for the weekend with my family and had car problems. They were extremely helpful and professional and fixed my car in less than an hour. They really saved the day. I would recommend them to anyone.

WOW… in my 20+ years of driving I have NEVER had such an unpleasant oil change experience. A few examples of how terrible the service was includes, but is not limited to :
— After 40 minutes, and not seeing my car in the garage, I had to ask how much longer it would be, especially since there were three employees on their phones, not working…
— They checked on my form that I had a leaking shock, but nobody bothered to mention that to me. Seriously?
–EVERY person I encountered was sullen and rude. WTF!!!
Do yourself a big fat favor and go somewhere else. It might cost more, but at least you won’t be giving your money to a bunch of miserable d-​bags.

Traveled to get four new tires at three fifteen PM. I returned to the shop to see they we still fitting tires to my wheels at 530 PM. When it’s ready to leave I fuel up and my TPMS light is on and the tire is leaking air. (6:45) get back to sears and they «fix» the problem. Only to find myself stranded with no spare and wheel damaged for the problem occurred again… Also my lock lug nuts hat to be broken off but they did not replace them. They did not after any service to me or any tempura of my situation. Nothing but a good luck from an employee named Rick… My distance from home was 60+ miles and they did not attempt to assist in anyway because the store was closing.
And sears wonders why their businesses suffers… You’ll be getting a call from me tomorrow. I left your store at 7:40 pm and I just got home at 12:30 Am Thanks to your poor quality service and detail. We all have bad days but this could had be been a fatal mistake made by the staff employed at sears auto center.

We went to Sears Auto Center for the following:
— Replace our rear tires with new ones and rotate to the front.
— Oil Change
— Inspect the reason for check engine light
— Fix air conditioner
When we came to pick up the car the next day, they lost the key to our car. They had us wait for almost an hour while they tried to locate the key and investigate where it might be. In the meantime, we found out that they have not rotated the tires to the front, didn’t inspect the check engine light, left our car outside the mall parking lot overnight (they were supposed to park the vehicles in the shop when it’s closed), and left a nice oil stain on our arm rest. We returned with a spare key so they could take care of rotating the tires and checking the engine light. They told us they would call when it was ready. Nobody called us so we headed over there to see if it was ready. The manager wasn’t there so we were told that they found out our key was handed to a customer who lives far away and can’t be returned to their shop until next week. We were informed that someone will call us when it’s returned and refund us $ 40 for the inconvenience when we return next week for the key. Keep in mind, we wasted over 4 hours of our weekend over this, never received an apology from anyone, and had to borrow a car for two days! I don’t know how they came up with $ 40 settling the matter. A week later, nobody called us! Even better, the air conditioning didn’t work and our tires were not inflated properly! My husband walked up to the manager (Kelly, who was the one that fixed our car and tried to find our key for almost an hour) and asked him why no one called us. He looked confused so my Husband asked, «do you remember me?» and he said… «no».
When he finally remembered, we got our spare key returned and asked for a refund for the air conditioner. He didn’t give us any trouble there. That was about the only good experience we had with Sears Auto Center. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy!
