Way south Santa Fe. Nice hotel, just a bit outside town. Needs more updating to be worth the rack rate. Next to a noisy street, apparently police pull people over every 15 minutes. Just feels like a low budget hotel. Not sure what it was before it was a double tree, but they just haven’t quite washed the motel 6 off this one.

Michael was the manager on duty.
I had made reservations via the hilton honors app.
It had a series of brain flatus that I was unable to successfully remedy.
Michael valiantly fought the system to get me my room
BRAVO.
The room was clean and very comfortable.

The rooms are small .
The sheets on one of the beds (2 double bed room) had holes (at least 8 holes in them) room 202. 5÷11÷15. there were just two guest.
For the $$ we paid ‚$ 171 plus, for one night, I would expect better.
The main restaurant was not open. No one mentioned this when we booked.
We were traveling on road trip & did not want to have to find another place to eat outside of the hotel, being very tired.
The bar was open & served dinner.
The staff were pleasant .
Food was mediocre .
Hotel older, in Need of cleaning .
Our balcony was dirty with bird droppings.
The patio furniture was disgusting with dirt
Not something I would sit on.
Disappointing hotel.

Any place that greets you at check-​in with a warm chocolate chip cookie wins in my book. DoubleTree WINS and its got a lot more to offer than mouthwatering treats (but seriously what other hotel does this???). I have stayed at the DoubleTree a lot and they always provide consistently helpful and friendly service, clean, nice rooms and an overall great experience. They have a nice work out room and pool (half indoors, half outdoors) and hot tub. There is also a restaurant and full bar. I am also a huge fan of their rewards program and have already earned a free night after only a few stays. In regards to location, this hotel is not located in downtown Santa Fe but is only a short car ride away from the Plaza and some of the best restaurants in town. It is conveniently close to anything you need, however. Gas station, Starbucks, Target, the mall and a movie theater are all walking distance. As are a few good restaurants that include the Plaza Diner and the Blue Corn Café.

A great Hilton property. Warm cookie, bar and a cool indoor outdoor pool. They do not have a coffee station in the lobby so make that crap coffee in your room. Starbucks is across the street if you need a cup of Joe.

Clean and nicely decorated. Seems like an older hotel that has been updated. Cerillos street leads to downtown. Busy street. Easy to get anywhere you need to go. Lots of dining nearby.

The guy who was the only one putting luggage away said that the people who didn’t show called out due to the tour group being scheduled. So you are saying they all had medical emergencies? Sounds like you are trying to save face. Just admit you had some crappy employees and move on.

A pretty decent location near enough downtown but inexpensive. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The pool and hotub were much appreciated even though it was cold outside.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here in August for several days. My stay was great, the hotel is quiet, the staff is super friendly and it is incredibly clean.
The ONLY negative thing about the hotel was room service, the food was awful and the portions were too small.
When I am back in the area again, I will definitely stay at this hotel!

If you are looking for a nice hotel outside of the downtown Santa Fe hustle and bustle, this might be the place for you.
This is a clean hotel, with all the amenities you can expect from a Hilton owned property. In addition, I was traveling with a service dog-​in-​training, and they were accepting and accommodating of the extra furry guest.
I stayed here on a reward stay, so I can’t speak of price, however I can say that if you are looking for a stay in Santa Fe without the HIGH prices of the plaza area, you’ll be happy with the Doubletree.

Could not expect more from a Hilton hotel. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is quite tasty.
Hands down, there is nowhere better to stay in Santa Fe, unless you want to spend way too much money for a bed.

I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable of a stay I had at this Doubletree.
I got a good price off of Priceline. I was coming from a Doubletree in Denver that was three times as much and definitely not in the least worth my stay so my expectations were low.
My room was so comfy and clean. I loved the little balcony and the huge bathroom. The ac was not too loud. The parking was easy and close. I wasn’t disturbed by noise either — huge plus. There in only one elevator but because it’s large and there are only 4 floors it’s manageable.
I’d definitely highly recommend if you don’t care about being at a chain hotel.

I stayed here recently for a visit to New Mexico and was very satisfied with the room and hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are modern and clean. All rooms have a balcony with chairs and tables to enjoy the views. My only complaint is that the location is far away from the center of town.

Hotel is old with a modern update. However, it’s still old. Pool was very small which to me, makes it a hotel which is unfriendly to children to my opinion. Staff was awesome!

Just checked in after skiing. Nice clean room. TV and bed are nice. Has nice beams to give it a Santa Fe feel. Has an awkward sliding door to the side parking lot. Kind of feels unsafe. Glad we have the gun, but it would have been better with a clear — story window for light without the access.

Quick note on excellent Valentine’s night spent at this charming hotel. I arranged for a potted Orchid flower to be delivered to the front desk, letting the hotel employee (Jason) know I’d like the flowers to be waiting in our room when my Valentine (wife) and I arrived around 6 PM.
Upon entering the lobby, being impressed by the great vaulted ceiling décor, the friendly hotel staff (and by the warm cookies upon checking in!), we headed up to our room. When we opened the door, we were greeted with a softly lite (and very attractive Junior suite) room with nice classical music playing on the radio. And, best of all, there on the desk were gorgeous orchids that blew my lovely spouse away («How’d you get these in the room? Wow!»). I’ll note I cold called a florist close to the hotel (New Earth Orchids), and the flowers were awesome (even had little red hearts on the petals – amazing!).
This hotel made for a great Valentine, with the wife being happy happy (which, based on my past performance on V-​Days of yore had to happen eventually –law of averages kind of thing :-).

We were very pleased with our stay here. Rooms were nice, the hotel felt very safe and parking wasn’t an issue. We were also happy that they gave us extra cookies upon checkout, very nice touch.
The hotel is a distance from the plaza, but as long as you’re aware, it’s not an issue.

Really nice staff, very efficient as well as friendly. Room for my mom-​in-​law was big, the bed was comfy and the accessible bathroom was big and easy to use the shower.

By the way, there’s a lot of renovation going on because this used to be a Holiday Inn. I’m guessing that Hilton took over and that’s why there’s a lot of changes happening. We didn’t mind though, because when we checked in, Double Tree gave us complimentary cookies! DoubleTree cookies are super yummy :)
Rooms are luxurious and clean. I hope you enjoy your stay! It’s at a great location — near many restaurants (loved Jambo — will also review soon!) and Regal Movie Theatres are across the street!
