Cutting Edge Flowers is a trendy floral shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are always looking for new ideas and designs to make your event look modern and fresh. We design for events all around the Santa Fe Area. But the best thing about our business is our desire to impress our clients. We don’t have clients we have Fans! And that’s just the way we like it!

I started in the floral industry in 2001, I was working in Sales before my first job at a local flower shop. I was stressed out with the high demands of sales with no reward for hard work. I enjoyed working at the flower shop and after a year quit to start a family. After staying home for many years gardening, and raising children, I was ready to go back to work. I started working at another flower shop for a year or so, but the demands of three children and a husband in the Army was to much for one girl to handle. My mom suggested that I start my own floral business so I could design my own work week. It was stressful at the start because I wasn’t sure how to start or run a business, but I did have a background in sales and it took off right from the start. It has been two years and I’m just getting started, I’m having a blast. They don’t offer a PHD in Modern floral design. It’s a combination of passion for flowers, Skill, and learning from the greats.

I originally heard about Cutting Edge Flowers from visiting my doctor. Cutting Edge Flowers were providing floral arrangements for an on-​going event in lobby and for each individual office. They were gorgeous and couldn’t stop admiring them during my appointment. A few visits later and I realized I just HAD to ask the receptionist who did the flowers. I got their card and planned to save it for special occasions, and perhaps hint to the hubby ;-) Their arrangements were full, well balanced, used high quality fresh flowers, which were modern, but also very beautiful (read: not «out there» modern, although i’m sure they could suit a customer’s needs that wanted something different).
Fast forward a few weeks after and our family friend got into an accident. I grabbed their business card and we called early in the morning to see if they would be able to do a quick arrangement. Judging by their quality of work, I wouldn’t know how busy they would be, or by how much lead time they required, but figured I’d give them a call to see if they could do a same day order. Rachel picked up and was very accommodating, polite, and professional. The order time was quick, and I trusted their style.
Note: we are new the area and don’t know many businesses here. This place would rival our florist in Los Angeles who did our wedding. Thank you Rachel and Cutting Edge Flowers; we’ll be putting in more orders very soon!

Racheal was so wonderful to work with. For such an indecisive bride, they made decision making a breeze! Before our first meeting, Racheal had ideas from my Pinterest page pulled up and her expertise is really valuable and impressive! Very easy to work with — prompt responses and made picking out flowers fun and easy! We could have never chosen a better florist! Racheal with Cutting Edge Flowers made the process of fun. I had no idea about flowers going into it — but she was so knowledgeable and informed us of what would go well and what was in season to keep our budget in mind. Racheal gave us a quote for my center pieces and was a little out of my budget, she went beyond and offered us her wholesale price for our DYI flowers. How nice is that! I could not stop thinking about how sweet and great she was! The flowers were INCREDIBLE. Every detail was wonderful and she was truly such a pleasure to work with! She listened to all my details and thoughts and executed it perfectly. I would use them over and over. Not a single complaint!

Being from Santa Fe its hard to find a florist that will deliver to La Cienega without a huge deliver fee. I live in Chicago now and when it came to sending my grandmother some flowers I didn’t know where to turn. Being a Unilocaler I looked online to the closest florist to La Cienega and lucky this place showed up. I looked at the flower arrangements and was impressed. I ordered the arrangement online and was also impressed how easy it was. I filled out all the questions leaving it up to the florist to be creative in the arrangement but making it sure it was for my grandmother who recently lost her sister. 10mins later I got my confirmation email saying the order will be taken care of. Today I got another email saying the order was successfully delivered. I’m not sure what the arrangement looked like but I’m sure it is beautiful. (Update) I got a call from my grandmother the next day and she said it was the most beautiful arrangement she has ever seen as there where roses, orchids and sunflowers which where her favorite flowers. She wished she knew how to take a picture and send it to me because I made her day.

Ok this is my first Unilocal review. I even signed up just to leave it. This place is great! Easy to use online ordering system. Fast response and delivery. I ordered the flowers at 9 and they were delivered by lunchtime. The bouquet was very nice. All around great!

Rachael was fantastic to work with! My family was in New Mexico for a 90th birthday party and Rachael went above and beyond to make sure that the flower arrangement was delivered for the occasion. Rachael even went out of her way to guide some of my family members to the rental house after they got lost! Cutting Edge Flowers definitely deserves five stars!

Cutting Edge Flowers is the best florist in Santa Fe. I am out of the area and needed a beautiful arrangement for a friend who’s father passed. Online I came across great reviews for Cutting Edge Flowers and saw the photos and I was sold! I used their website to order the first arrangement that I needed to be delivered the very next day. Their site includes an area to specify color and flower preferences, delivery dates, budget and delivery costs. I received a response confirming the order was placed from Rachel, the owner. I put in an additional order by phone and got the same wonderful treatment as online. Rachel sent photos via text per my request and both arrangements were spectacular. She did not miss a beat. I could not be more thrilled. I actually ahhhh’d at the site of the vibrant colors, the design, and the flowers selected. When the time comes in the future, I will use Cutting Edge again and again. They are excellent floral designers whose work is top notch. Plus, the way that I was treated as a customer was incredible.
