Here in New Mexico, we still have skies that are clear and dark enough to explore the many fascinating jewels of the night. Our safe and secure observing site is an easy drive from Santa Fe. Come spend an evening getting acquainted with some of nature’s most distant and beautiful creations. A giant telescope and our expert guide will spark your sense of wonder with close-​up views of planets, nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies.

Established in 2002.

He has also served as exclusive entertainment for several intimate wedding parties during their special celebrations.

Peter L.

Business Owner

Peter Lipscomb, award-​winning astrophotographer, operates Astronomy Adventures. New Mexico State Parks ranger by day and stargazer by night, he specializes in outdoor education. In the past, Peter served as director of the Night Sky Program for the New Mexico Heritage Preservation Alliance. From 2007 – 2010 he wrote a weekly astronomy column for The Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper. His work has also appeared in Sky & Telescope and Astronomy magazines.
