History

Established in 1940.

Phoenix Restoration began as a furniture repair & refinishing shop in what is now the Silicon Valley in 1940. The company moved to the Santa Cruz area in 1960 continuing to grow and serve the local California region. In 1980 the company added services in professional historic finish preservation of furnishings, artifacts and interior architecture, while continuing to provide repair, refinishing and finish design/​application services. Today, Phoenix Restoration has also focused on adapting Green and Eco-​friendly restoration techniques and coatings to better serve the needs of our clients and an ever changing environmental setting.
