Ryan Buckholdt has helped many individuals and families purchase homes in the Santa Cruz area for more than 15 years. His clients range from first-​time home buyers to those buying their dream homes. Ryan assesses each client’s entire financial situation, educates them on what is available, and proposes options and opportunities that will help best take care of their needs.

Ryan understands the complexities of real estate financing and he works to ensure that his clients are grounded during the process and comfortable with their decisions A native of Santa Cruz, Ryan has gained a reputation for being a resource to the community. He has developed strong relationships with local Realtors, banks and title companies.

Ryan is chairman of the Events and Community Relations Committee of the Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors and he was awarded 2010 Affiliate of the Year for his contributions to the growth of the organization.

Ryan lives with his family in Santa Cruz.

I recently closed on a home in San Jose, CA and was helped by mortgage advisor Jean Adams. As a first time home buyer, the whole process was at first confusing and at times down right frustrating. We were referred to Ryan Buckholdt and team by our realtor. We had been looking for a house in the Santa Cruz area for awhile and finally found something that was hot. That meant getting a pre-​approval letter quickly i.e. the same day, and on a Sunday! I had called a mortgage company we used for our refi and they were too slow.
Luckily for us, Ryan and his team were/​are super-​responsive. Ryan is great at what he does. He asked us a series of questions that generated our loan pre-​approval letter. This helped a lot later on because our loan process went very smoothly. He is very knowledgable and listed out multiple scenarios in terms of rates/​limits/​thresholds/​terms so we could make an informed decision. Marta and Theresa helped us get all of the paperwork together. We ended up closing in less than 30 days even with the Christmas and New Year holidays in the mix.
