Marisa gave the Most excellent and effective facial ever! I’m 45, have deep pigmentation & fine lines. Constantly looking for a new esthetician and products to improve my skin and I have finally found it! Marisa listens and tailors her service to my specific needs, recommends products that have actually worked on my challenging skin tone and a relaxing massage to boot! Genuinely amazing experience.

It was the most AMAZING pedicure ever!!! People always told me how great it was but I didn’t know till I really experienced it it for myself!

I must say as a 27 year old woman I am constantly wanting to change my look. I have been going to Savannah for about 5 years now and every time I leave I am thrilled. We have gone from black, to light brown, ombré, highlights, and now a deep espresso. When I walk into the salon I am greeted as if I am apart of the family and feel so much love. With plenty of laughter and juicy convos Savannah somehow sneaks in a little magic and makes my hair look shinny, healthy, and like a million dollars. I hate walking around town and seeing chunky cheap looking highlights/​hair and i don’t think it’s possible to look cheap after seeing her.
I look forward to rocking my dark hair again and pondering about what I want next. Maybe red???
Oh did I mention the products they sell are game changers! I mean honestly the best mascara I have ever used ! (that’s saying a lot because I am a full face out the door type of girl) and the evolve shampoos and conditioners allow me to play with all of my different shades and phases without my hair falling out.

The 5 stars are for Linda! I had my long hair cut and styled by her at this salon for the first time last week and really love the cut! She spent 90 min on me including a deep conditioning, head massage and a lot of attention to what I was looking for. She was extremely sweet and said I could come back if I didn’t love it. So glad I found someone great to keep going to. I recommend her to all my friends now. The salon was ok. The other two ladies that were there were not very friendly to me or Linda. Seemed pretty snooty.

I did a lot of research to find the BEST to color my hair in Santa Cruz and I found it. Savannah at Oasis!
I have been loosing a lot of hair for the past year and am always scared to get my hair colored because it always seems to make it worse, but I have a lot of grey so it is a must.
I did alot of research to find a place that has gentle hair color. I found it at Oasis, not only is there color organic they are also a green business.
From the minute you walk in Oasis everyone is very attentive and sweet.
Savannah took her time to find out exactly what I wanted. She gave me her 100% attention and took her time, not like a lot of other places that are with other clients in between.
Savannah is great the color was very gentle, I loved how she used steam to set the color not heat. my hair looks amazing, the prices are affordable I highly recommend Savannah at Oasis!

After a long period of forgetting to make time for a facial, I recently took advantage of a special offer for both a massage and facial. I got the facial first, and was extremely delighted with the experience. Pamela gives an amazingly thorough and deeply relaxing facial, tending to all the details while I drifted into dreamland. The bed is incredibly comfortable and is heated, bringing an even deeper level of relaxation. The music playing in the dimly lit room was soft and spacious, never attention grabbing, and contributed to a sense of floating on air. When I was finished I felt renewed and fresh, as well as profoundly rested and well nurtured. For sure, I will not wait so long for my next facial at Oasis. Can’t wait for the hot stone massage!

I have to share my extraordinary experiences at Oasis Hair and Skin Care. I have been a client of Pamela’s for many years and my visits just keep getting better and better. She always has the newest products for my face and it glows after every appointment. As an expert in skin care, Pamela is extremely knowledgeable and each time I go it is relaxing, rejuvenating and educational. I also purchase many of the wonderful products she sells for home use. I want to take a moment to RAVE about Lindah Bucci! I went in last night for an all-​over highlight and could not be happier with the results. My hair was a medium brown and the ends were much darker, plus I had a few inches of new growth (yes…a hot mess) and Lindah absolutely transformed my hair into a beautiful golden blonde with gorgeous highlights. I had been using box dye for years which made my hair really hard to lighten but she knew exactly what to do and how to fix it. It was a long process due to all the metallics in my hair from the box dye but it came out amazing. The quality of Lindah’s service and friendliness is above and beyond anywhere else I have experienced. She is extremely patient and everything came out better than I had imagined. She is a true artist and is the best thing that will ever happen to your hair!

Just got my hair cut by Wendy. Just can’t believe how great it looks! The color is perfect and she did an amazing cut on my very thin fine hair. I liked it in the salon, but just got home and realized how great it looks! Thank you so much. What a wonderful place. I have very difficult hair to cut in just the right way and Wendy knew exactly what to do. This woman is a genius!

All the ladies who work at Oasis really make sure that you walk out of the salon happy with their service and they go out of their way to assure that this is the case. I have been a customer of Oasis since they first opened and over the years have referred numerous of my friends and co-​workers to Oasis noticing my great haircuts, shiny hair color, my radiant 58 year old skin and my beautiful nails. Lindah is wonderful! I’d been trying for years to make do with my local options but was never satisfied. No matter how I tried to describe things, show photos, discuss technique, etc, I never got the fresh, young, modern cut I wanted. Enter Lindah! On a recommendation from a friend, I gave her a call. First off, she’s SUPER nice! She really cares about her clients — she genuinely wants you to love your hair. Not just like it, LOVE it. She always says that if something’s not perfect, to please come back in. I’ve had stylists say this before but I always felt really awkward taking them up on it — like they didn’t totally mean it. But Lindah is the opposite. My hair is super hard to tell what it will look like right after a cut — it takes a couple days for it really settle in — so sometimes I did want/​need to go back. If I ever want something refined Lindah is extremely accommodating and always excited to see me. And it’s genuine, not like social nice. Her pricing is also reasonable for the area (& she’ll work with you if needed). I’ve always heard that good stylists are always furthering their education. That was a major issue with my local stylists — most had learned a long time ago and hadn’t updated their technique. I have fairly fine, moderately curly hair and Lindah cuts it into the shoulder-​skimming slightly asymetrical, very slightly bobbed/​rounded shape I think is most flattering on me. She does a technique called Volumetrix (sp?) to add, you guessed it!, volume, and is very skilled with curly hair. She point-​cuts mine so the layers are blended in, not so noticeable, which is what I wanted. And her texturizing is just right — I’ve had some stylists do waaay too much, like cutting chunks out my hair! I do recommend bringing photos — they’re always helpful because it helps get you & your stylist on the same page and saves time and energy.
I used to get my very dark blonde hair highlighted but the time and cost put me off of it for awhile. Before my bridesmaid debut at my best friend’s wedding, I decided I really wanted to brighten things up so I discussed balayage with Lindah. By that time my hair was completely natural — all traces of highlight grown out. She’s an old pro at balayage (long before it was in) and her confidence made me feel comfortable. We started small, since I was new to it, and I loved it so much I decided to go back and have her add a little more. The great thing about balayage (when done right) is that it looks natural, like you’ve been surfing in Bali for two months, and it’s less time consuming than foil highlights so less expensive, and much lower maintenance because it grows out in a more natural, less noticeable way than highlights — you don’t get that root line. So that was back in June and I just went back for more but not because I had to — it still looked good, though faded a little, which happens.
The added bonus of giving my business to Lindah is that, well it makes me feel good because she’s such a wonderful person, but also they’re a certified green salon (the 1^st in CA apparently). I also like that the shampoo/​conditioner she uses on me is natural and not heavily scented. Two of my friends and my mom also go to her and love her. She only works Wed, Fri & Sat but often works late into the evening. It’s good to call a week or two in advance if you have a tricky schedule. But do give her a call — you won’t regret it!

Pamela’s facials have really made a difference in how my skin looks and feels. I asked her if facials actually made skin look younger or if they were ‘just for fun’. She said that if I wanted the full benefits I’d have to do a few two weeks apart to begin with. I noticed a difference right away and so did other people! I was having my hair cut the next week and the stylist asked if I’d done something different because my skin looked so different.
I’ve checked around and her prices are very competitive and she explained what she does, she really uses quality ingredients. I’m an old hippie, I don’t wear make-​up, but this feels like it improved the health of my skin and I feel I look really great naturally now.
Besides all that, she’s a really nice person and the treatment is a soothing oasis in a busy day. Pamela is a jewel.

Cheladee gives the most amazing facials! She’s very knowledgeable and intuitive — really skilled at what she does. I have been going to her for over a year and wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else!

Pamela has been my Esthetician since 1998. She is wonderful !!! Over the years I have regularly received facials from her every month to 2 months. Her facials have taken my skin through my early 40’s and now well into my late 50’s we very little signs of aging. She has always stayed on the cutting edge of technology and offers the best products on the market. She has also guided me on how to care for my skin to keep it hydrated and healthy. I highly recommend Pamela, her facials are VERY relaxing, and effective.

A+ As a gal with curly hair it is VERY difficult to find a hair stylist that won’t wreck your hair with too much product to make it «behave», or who has the ability to shape it correctly. Linda on the other hand is very knowledgable about curl, and gave me exactly what I was hoping for! I will definitely see her again if I’m in the area. Thanks Linda!

I love the atmosphere of Oasis. It is calming, clean and modern but not so trendy that you feel like you have to walk in with manicured nails and 5 inch heels. I tried another salon in town and I left feeling so out of place amongst dozens of bleached and dyed hair. At Oasis, you’ll fit in no matter who you are and they won’t give you a weird look if you want a natural, more organic look. Lindah Bucci is super sweet and friendly. I look forward to my hair appointments with her!

I absolutely love this place. I came in to donate for locks of love and Jamie was so amazing. She gave me some samples of products they used on my hair. I’ve done locks of love before at other salons but I’ve never been treated like this before. Jamie gave me an extra scalp treatment because I had issues with dandruff recently. And even straightened my hair! I’ve always had long curly hair so to have short straight hair was amazing! I will definitely be coming back and will let all my friends know about this amazing salon!

I had an amazing experience at Oasis! A simple cut and color– that I was able to schedule at the very last second, and with which I’m ecstatically happy! My stylist, Diane, made sure she knew what I wanted AND that I knew what I needed and gave me exactly what I requested. Paired with the beautifully intimate surroundings and the stellar service, in addition to the ‘Green Certification’, this is not only my new favorite, I’m planning on giving gift certificates for some of the exceptional spa services to all my gf’s. Girl-​friends and gay-​friends, alike!
