Since before moving into my house 2.5 years ago, I noticed that there was issues with my centralized AC. My home builder assured it that it would be fixed before moving in. I was told that there was a leak in my HVAC system, and the refrigerant was leaking out. In the past 2.5 years, my home builder’s warranty rep hired a different HVAC company who essentially opened up the walls of my house and still could not find the leak, and just used a sealer.
Last week, a different warranty rep, recommended JC Heating, and Dave found the source of the leak in less than an hour.

We recently had JC Heating install a large mini-​split system in our house to provide heating and air-​conditioning. Their quote was very competitive. Our initial quote had to be amended several times, partly because we increased the size of the system and partly because JC Heating was given incomplete information from their equipment distributor. The installation could have been a disaster because of that, but it wasn’t because our installer, Rich, was wonderful. He correctly anticipated the potential problems that would have resulted from the bad information they had received from their distributor and JC Heating made it right for us at their own expense. Rich was thorough and meticulous in his work, and very knowledgeable. He patiently worked with us to make sure everything was exactly where and how we wanted it and cheerfully accommodated the changes we made. He put in several very long days with a lot of unanticipated stress and he remained positive and patient, and never compromised his professional attitude. He took a lot of time to explain everything to us and made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the system. We are very happy with the finished work and highly recommend JC Heating.

Our HVAC project was not small for a small residential home, no central heating or AC were in the house and this was the first project of our remodel. My first contact was Chris, knowledgeable, helpful and sincere. Chris asked what we were looking for and made recommendations to help get us started, after a few follow up calls we had our written proposal. Chris remained in touch with us daily, with several personal visits to the job site. The team Richey, Josh, and Mark came out when scheduled, these guys are friendly, personable and professional. We quickly came to recognize they all have a common trait, they absolutely wanted us to be satisfied. I want to call out that this was not the easiest of projects and that I am not the easiest person to please, Thanks to our team we have a good quality HVAC system that was professionally installed with pride. I previously reviewed J C Heating and Air Conditioner Inc. They are the best! I wanted to mention Josh who actually crawled under my house to do the work needed. Wow! What a great guy. He not only did a wonderful job under my house but he did a little favor for me. Thank you very much Josh!

JC replaced my ducting 10 years ago. It seemed I needed replacement again (the bottom of my house is exposed to the elements – on steep hill). Chris came and said that the job from 10 years ago had not been done in a satisfactory manner (somehow it had not been checked) and that he would replace it all now at no cost. That is amazing service, honesty, standing behind one’s work. The way business ought to be done, the way it used to be done. I was so impressed and thankful. He did not have to do that; I would have happily paid. He did it because he felt it was right. I wish he could do all my home repairs!

I would not recommend using JC Heating & Air Conditioning. They are corrupt in their billing practices, do not provide accurate estimates, and then claim «time and materails» were well beyond expectation. When challenged on their billing practices, they fail to follow-​up and get very defensive. I plan to file a formal complaint with the California Contractor Licensing Board and the California Department of Consumer Affairs. My experience is similar to Julia H. Bad news.

Great technician, Dave, came out to check on the air flow in my 2^nd story bedroom. Did a fantastic job on trouble shooting and letting me know what he was doing. Changed out the air cleaner for me since I had one ready to go! Patti and Cathy were great on the phone. Exceptional service; I recommend them highly!

Came to estimate gutters and recommended fixing only specific sections and replacing down spouts, plus installing additional needed down spouts. Quick, courteous and very affordable. I’d recommend them to any homeowner needing gutters, duct work, heating, AC or small repairs.

These guys are super nice. They sent me an estimate to put in new forced air heating system that was accurate, and reflected everything we talked about. Super-​friendly and good, quick service, too.

Do NOT use this business. Will send an estimator, not someone who will actually do the work, and will tell you to overhaul your entire system. Gave me a verbal $ 3500 quote to replace all duct work, said would follow up with written quote. Never did. Got another firm to fix the single duct that needed repair for less than $ 300.
