H & H Fresh Fish Co. specializes in the finest of local & sustainable gourmet seafood. Find us at select Farmers’ Markets, join our Community Supported Seafood (CSS) weekly subscription program, or have fish delivered straight to your door!

We also offer Oyster Bar catering at weddings, parties, and other events.

History

Established in 2003.

We started as a simple little fisherman and his wife operation. Hans would catch the fish, Heidi would sell it at 2 little farmers’ markets. Nearly 10 years later we’ve expanded our market locations all over the bay and expanded our fishing fleet as well!

When Hans isn’t catching the fish himself or supporting our large crew of local fishermen; he uses his 30 years in the seafood industry, decades of commercial fishing, & chef experience to source & hand-​select the most beautiful fish from our trusted sustainable seafood suppliers & fishermen.

We love being a part of the Farmers’ Market community and also leading the way with our Community Supported Seafood (CSS) — a weekly seafood subscription program.

Meet the Business Owner

Hans H.

Business Owner

Hans has been involved in the fishing industry nearly his entire life. His work experience has been centered on commercial fishing; however through his love for our ocean & lifelong passion for diving, spear fishing, & sport fishing, he has attained a vast knowledge of the ocean & its inhabitants.

Hans’s fishing experience naturally led him to progress into the cooking industry where he was given the opportunity to work in five star restaurants, including alongside executive chef Wolfgang Puck. He has attained a vast knowledge of not only how to catch, but also cook fish & is happy to share his tips & suggestions.

Hans hoped to focus his thorough knowledge into a service that he could provide to his community in order to share in & spread seafood appreciation for all of it’s many health benefits and limitless culinary adventures. He also hopes to teach consumers about sustainably harvested fishing practices as well as making ecologically sound choices when it comes to selecting fish.
