Glow Acupuncture and Esthetics is a new business located in a beautiful clinic on the beach at the Santa Cruz Harbor. It combines time honored Chinese Medical Practices and advanced modern skin care technology to deliver unique and effective treatments.

Business Owner

Lauren Moser L.Ac., L.E., has been practicing esthetics since 2004 on Maui, Hi. She moved to Santa Cruz to attended school for acupuncture, and opened her cosmetic acupuncture practice in the beginning of this year. Her love of both skin care and acupuncture are combined in this practice to deliver unique, effective, relaxing, and healing treatments to her clients.

I usually think of facials as just a massage for your face — kind of a luxury, and not really effective compared to a good daily skincare routine. I ended up scheduling a a acupuncture facial with Lauren while I was on a weekend trip to Santa Cruz, and it was every bit as relaxing as I had hoped. The surprise came the next morning, when I woke up — my skin looked noticeably brighter, and also somehow tighter and more relaxed. Brighter is the best word though. It’s now been about 72 hours, and my skin is still looking bizarrely good. I ordered some products from her, and I’m hoping to keep some of the benefits of the facial– I don’t know how much was the topical products that she used, and how much was the needles, but the combo is kind of unbelievable. Every time I look in the mirror, I am surprised and delighted again! Can’t wait for my next trip to Santa Cruz.
